I just have no words to describe that sheer awesome. And seeing my vert on the lift today getting my oil changed really made me want to lower it and get new rims....oi. Wish I had money, maybe my vert could be a hundredth as badass as yours.

Oh, and all your links just go to photobucket.com.

Thanks for the nice comments.

I am not sure how to make the pics link to a bigger image? If someone tells me I will do it.

Right click on each image, copy the image location, and link the image to that link. That should work.

Man... it's exciting to see your Vader vert on a magazine cover. I bet many people will go 'Someone chopped s14 kouki roof off?' when they see the cover. Front looks WIDE in the last picture. Valve cover looks better, spoiler looks better than ever, wide rear fenders look aggressive, crazy minus cambers and everything's cool. Congrats!!!

Man...I am at a loss for words...

Well I can start off by saying congrats Mickey...

You're def. a role model for me and my vert...wish I had the money to start working on mine.

I never get tired of looking at that work of art...can't wait to pick up the issue!

You make us vert owners proud!

Dammit! Now I gotta go drop $5 on a magazine. Actually.. maybe I'll buy two of them.. one to rip the pictures out of so that I can frame them.. another to keep pristine.

Thanks for representing our group so well. That rocks!!

Wow guys...thanks again for all the great feedback. I have posted this stuff on a couple Nissan forums and have been shocked with all the positive feedback. So again, thanks to everyone.

I am glad I have inspired some of you to do more to your vert and to some slip69 (tisk, tisk) actually make them keep there verts. One thing though, be an individual. Make mods your comfortable with and for god sake drive the wheels off them with the top down. It is the most amazing feeling...am I right?

I love these cars and am actually going out to look at purchasing another one this week. If I end up purchasing this one I think I am going to try to restore it and do very minor mods....and oh yeah...drive the hell out of it with the top down! LOL

congrats mick! well deserved for sure.

i went to go pick up a copy the first night i saw that you had this posted, but couldn't find one at 7-11 or walmart. the next day i was at the parts store and found a copy. to my surprise, there was no bimbo on the cover. so i've got a different copy. i haven't had a chance to read the article yet and i've never read import tuner before. hopefully it's a good write-up.

mad props my vert brother.

As I say all the time, converibles are not my preference in cars. That said, it is that much more the accomplishment that your car has me salivating like a hungry man standing over a steak laden grill! Words cannot do adequate justice for the feelings that your ride invokes in me, so all can say is DAYUM!!! Much respect to you for the time, effort, money, attention to detail, and vision that you committed to this phenomenon of a car. And don't get me started on the engine! Take pride (or disgust) in knowing that your car will be the subject of many a Nissan lover's fap sessions.

On another note, I love how the article refers to the "Z-powered Sylvia".

I snagged a copy at my local Walmart.. I have the version with the hottie standing in front of the car... should have put her on the side of the car leaning over the hood.. .but I digress..

There is a very sweet 350z in the same mag.. love seeing the Nissan love in the car mags. The more people see them.. the more they want them.. the more my car is worth!! lol.

So what's next for the Vader Vert Mickey???The only thing I can see is a turbo kit under the hood and a FMIC in that hole in the bumper... it's hard to improve on perfection.. but that might just do it.

Yes FI on that beast would be awesome but I think he said something about big displacement first. Who knows what's in store?

I'm going out today to get me an issue also.

i read the article today on my "bathroom break"

i don't think forced induction is coming anytime soon. there was mention of a high compression (10:1), big displacement (100mmx88mm - doesn't equal 4.1L btw, wtf?) "race engine vq" with some other normally aspirated goodies coming very soon (right now?)

also, i think that chick is ugly anyway...

Do it! We could use a good Coupe-Convertible conversion write-up

You do that, and I'll do the write up on a Fastback -> Hardtop vert

Have seen RX-7 and BMW 6 series. I was wondering when his car was going to appear and FINALLY!!! I think that's Falken's theme. Black car from the back with mad negative cambers...

If you see the pictures carefully, you can see rivets. I prefer removing OEM fenders cuz car looks cleaner, but found many people are against it. Any thought on this?
