Hey Guys,

As I mentioned in a thread a few months ago, I am (with the help of about 20 sponsors) agressively working to finish our car in time for the NOPI 2007 Tour.

As it has been since 2004, the car will once again be featured in the BF Goodrich Tires Booth at select locations nationwide.

I'm going to make this the official thread, and will be updating the thread while we finish up the car.

Here is the current mod list, and the latest pictures/videos will be posted soon.

So glad you mentioned that....lol...

Already been taken care of, Valve Covers have been powdercoated Candy Apple Red with a Chrome Base Coat.

And Intake Manifold has been powdercoated Chrome, instead of polishing...

It actually looks much better IMO, and should holdup...

I'm thinking more of that mess of wiring and vacumn lines.

The JDM Imports S13 GT-R is the epidemy of how an all out engine bay should look.

Ah...Yes...that is being taken care of as well. When McKinney Motorsports did the swap, it was a rush job to get it ready for NOPI Nationals.

Now that we are building the motor, etc...we will be taking our time and removing all excess wiring/accessories from the engine bay.

Omg back from the dead. Lol This is a bomb s14, my s14 is going the same way. Im building my rb. If i had sponsors or a better job/done with school I would have the same kit. Nice work. Im going for 700hp with no nitrous. But my s14 is on hold as im building a s13 sil truck to drift with this year. What are your big plans of things to do next to the car? I thought you sold the car?

Yes Mack is wanting to borrow the downpipe, and I will be sending it to him to have copied.

I just dont want it sitting there for several weeks, and us sitting here waiting on it to come back, so we can get the car back on the road. That's my only fear...

The carbon fiber bodykit was made by GTP, http://www.importfan.com

My secret goal.....

I'd like to run 9's in the 240SX through the 1/4.

At the end of the 2007 NOPI Tour, this car will be retired from the show circuit, and I intend to drag race it...

I've owned the car since college, and we've been through alot together.

In regards to your question about me selling the car, yes I did. I sold it back in January 2005 right after it came out in HCI magazine.

I had the opportunity to purchase it back from that customer in January 2007, and took it before he changed his mind. It had less than 200 miles since it originally changed hands from me to him.

Got the Candy Apple Red Valve Covers back from Powder Xpress (with NUR Spec Plate from RB Motoring) last night, will have the Chrome Powdercoated Intake Manifold and OEM TT Piping back early part of next week.

They did an amazing job on the Candy Powder Coat. They have a blazing fast 72 hour turn around time, and you simply mail them your pieces to be done.

Cost me $150ish, and was well worth the money. http://www.powderxpress.com/

Here are the pictures taken with my crappy cheap digital camera. I'll get some better images for you guys that may be interested in using Powder Express.

Candy is hard to shoot with my cheap camera, as the gloss comes across blurry. They are absolutely stunning, and will really wake my bland engine bay up.

Especially, as the Black Paint was peeling off my Valve Covers and Intake Manifold.

otterman,

Dude, the pic in your sig is HILARIOUS!

underground,That candy paint looks beautiful. What (if any) prep work did you do on the parts you sent to be powder coated? Did you cover the GT-R badge, or replace it after the cover was returned?

I didn't do any prep work, besides removing the rubber pieces that I didn't want to see melted.

The powder coater even removed some pieces I missed. (That's why they are the professional and I'm not.)

They sprayed over the R33 OEM badge, and I just removed it when I got it back last night... Then took some Goo-B-Gone and removed the OEM adhesive, then attached the NUR Spec R34 Plate.

Easy process....

Just wanted to update the thread.

Check out the new mod list in my intro post.

We decided to scrap the twins, and instead went with a GT4088R.

This turbo should make the 700whp I am shooting for, and we'll know in the next few weeks.

The block is finished, and we are just waiting on OEM Valve Seals before we start on the headwork.

Looking forward to dynoing the car in the next 4-6 weeks.

Yes, I have everything for sale.

I will let the TT setup go for $400 OBO. That includes the turbo's and OEM manifolds.
