I just reviewed an advance copy of the DVD - It's a LOT better than I thought it would be.You're still gonna need to pop in here to the RB forum for a couple things, but all in all, it's a great resource for someone who's never done the swap. I give it 2 thumbs up.

I got the popcorn out and watched it with Greg. Overall I would pay money for it--I have swapped many Nissan motors and still learned a few things--example--I would have left the stock inst. temp. sender in and not swapped to the KA sender. I might have missed it but I didn't see in the video how you ran the bypass valve?--in fact seems like that side of the motor didn't get allot of attention. I would also have liked to see more factory torques instead of air gun torque. Even though all this info is on the net--I would still own a copy.P.S. that was the rustiest fuel pump cover EVER--Do you guys need me to send one out to you!!!!

Hahaha, I think my car has seen a lot of life, yeah I'll take a fuel pump cover if you got one...I'm thinking it could have been worse. I'm glad you both liked the video, I worked really hard to get everything together, and Alex really came through on great filming and editing, not to mention we found the right people to partner up with, Gary from Syko and Marco from the SR20store plus all of our great sponsors. I am in the works for an rb25 build and turbo upgrade DVD as we speak and I hope that that build will be an informative addition to those who want to push their Rb25 even harder.Thanks a lot for the encouragement.

he covered the a/c wiring and injector wiring and the white plug removal also the power source. Only thing i was dissappointed with was the fact that they should have shown each particular plug such as relays and show what was connected to what. better close ups.

I just got my copy. While its good, I'm disappointed in that they used an engine with a Greedy Intake manifold, along with installing the engine from below. Very few people will be installing these things from below. The vid did convince me that I need to invest in some air-tools, omg does that eliminate so much time and pain the *** (er knuckles)

did i miss something? i really got the video to help with the wiring, and i didnt see anything except for telling the difference in the power for the ecu....or is another video being made for that?
great video though i understand alot of things better now even after doing 2 rb20 swaps already

Got both swap and wiring dvd....ive done 2 rb20 swaps already and i still got some usefull informations out of both dvd's especially the wiring dvd....it really helps out if you want to make sure your doing everything the right way.

Thank you! God you guys were nubs to at some point. Dont be angry if now there is more info then when you did it. I would buy a premade harness simply because even though im a guitar tech, i dont like wiring at least on somthing i dont know about. (especially on somthing i have no clue what does what, on a guitar tho because i know it all i can figure outa wire setup in minuts)
And here is my nooby question: would it be reasonable to ask the parts list for what is located on the DVD? i dont want to get everything together, and start up the dvd and get all excited only to realize im missing somthing or i have a different part (cept for the engine mounts, thats pretty much self explanatory even i can do that). yeah soo thanks ahead of time! im definantly gonna have to pick up that dvd, already saw the vid on utube, and some weird things (for fuel pump says left side when its his left but our right er somthing and is a little confusing, but still FAR better than me just winging it)

Wow FANTASTIC! EVEN ADDED SITE WHERE TO GET THAT STUFF? Wow really bravo!
Im going to buy a dvd even if i dont swap out an engine, it will be a great learning experience, to bad im broke (spent 700bucks building my dream guitar... another 400 on amp, another 240 on lessons....) Might be a little while but latest cristmas!
On a really important note for me, how do you guys suggest to actually put in the RB25det (in my case) from below or above? If you could give me a suggestion as how to accomplish it from below if you do only show how to do it from below, that would be great cuz i dont have a lifter, and im not soo confortable jacking the car up then lowering it down onto the engine... help would greatly improve the probablity of doing the swap!

~edit~ i notticed in an above post that it is below install  do you have any suggestions for us on a budget on how to do it? or maybe you guys could come out with another with installing it from above?

just recieved my RB25DET S13 DVD good info and lots of tips but too many does not show on proper way of changing belts & timing belt & tensioner..yada yada overall good dvd

The timing belt and water pump should be covered in the RB25DET Motor Build DVD that is schedule in January. We are using Ali's RB25DET again.
