I have been wanting to finish the interior of my trunk to match the interior of my car..... but have just been too busy at work. Finally had a couple slower days at work this week, so I finished off the trunk while waiting for cars to come in. Although my trunk carpet and panels were in mint condition, I have always disliked the cheesy gray plastic panels. I also figured I would match it to my interior. I covered the side and back panels with black subwoofer enclosure carpet. Stretches great and is a real tight knit. I also re-wrapped the trunk carpet in the same material. My black carpet kit for the interior of the car also came with a thick trunk mat. So I obviously also used that on top of the OEM trunk mat..... gives it a better look and is very durable. I painted all of the original light gray push tabs with a black plastic paint that I use on lots of installs at work. I also opted to carpet over the jack door and tail light access panels. I don't carry a jack or spare and can simply pull the rear panel to get to the rear bulbs if needed. I think it looks better than slitting the carpet to get the panels to open. Here are a few finished pics of the trunk, interior pics for the hell of it, the Cusco Zero 2E's w/Econ dampening control that I installed earlier this week and a couple other pics I took while doing the coilovers. On a side note, I installed the Cusco's in place of my Buddy Club Race Spec's..... Cusco's ride much better!

Kind of off topic, but I'm also redo-ing my trunk. I am missing whatever holds the trunk open. Can you take a couple pics of that and either post it on here or send it to me. Don't mean to jack the thread, but I would really like my trunk to stay open on its own!

That looks great. I've got my hatch stripped, and I want to redo alot of it in that manner. Are those NRG seats? If so, how do you like them?

It took me about 3 hours total. The carpet was about $11 my cost..... retail would of been about $40. I used a spray glue that cannot be purchased in stores. I used about 2 cans @ $17/ea. retail. That's it!

Those are stock seats recovered in black suede and leather.

love the interior, while the trunk looks nice, its a trunk I prefer the stripped trunk no panels no carpet just essentials.

Broadfield you have one of the nicest 240's I think I've ever seen. I love your interior setup, I'm planning one similar for my 240.

Props for a wicked car.

Dude your car is amazing. That is exactly what I would want in an S13. The silvia front with the square lights, NOT projectors. The only thing I'd do, if it were mine, would be: a CF hood, front lip, side skirts, and gold Work VS-XX wheels.

Congrats on having my dream S13. I'm green to the core with envy.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks man! I will have some Work S1 2P's probably next year..... building a new house this year, so short on funds. Otherwise I won't change much except for maybe a pignose lip.
