I swapped out my stock rear traction control links with some aftermarket links today...here's the pics.

Tools needed:JackJackstandsSocket wrench18mm socket3/4 wrenchBreaker barTorque wrenchCrescent wrench

First thing, jack the car up and put jackstands under it for support.Stock traction control link...it ends today! You'll need a breaker bar to break each end of the control link. Then use a 18mm socket and a 3/4 wrench to remove the traction link bolts.Next, I used a small hammer to tap out the bolts from the frame and spindle.Ran into a problem here, one of the traction link bolts was facing the rear upper control arm so when I tried to remove the bolt it was blocked. I used the same 18mm socket and the 3/4 wrench to remove the outer RUCA(rear upper control arm) bolt so I could take out the traction link bolt.Everything's pulled and ready for the new links!Use a crescent wrench to spec the link to the same size as the stock link. I went with the Megan Racing Traction Control Link. Now you can place the links and tap the bolts back in.If you had to remove the RUCA then you need to put it back the way it was as well.Don't forget to tighten the adjusting bolts with a crescent wrench. Torque the inner bolt to 51-65ft. lbs. and the outer bolt to 57-72ft. lbs. then hit up the alignment shop.

Thanks for taking your time and posting this. Can I ask you something? You replaced Rear Traction Control Link and Rear Toe Control Rod, but you still have OEM RUCA. Isn't RUCA like back bone of rear suspension right after coilover? I appreciate someone explain how this setup is going to work without RUCAs. Or are you going to have adjustable RUCAs soon?

Yes, I'm going to get a set of adjustable rear upper control arms next. My intention was to make the RUCA's the first part to change out and the traction/toe rods the last but I had a chance to get both and save some money so I jumped on it. I'm gonna go with another brand of RUCA's not Megan Racing.

Got it. I have SPL RUCAs and they are good. I highly recommend them.

I'm curious, why will you not go with Megan racing parts again?

We're putting together a track car and we were planning on using mostly megan for the various 'arms' because we can't see how the higher priced brands have an advantage (they're all steel and basically the same shape/construction)

No particular reason, I just decided to go with another brand of RUCA and RLCA before I even started on the rear suspension. I got no problem with Megan Racing, so far the parts have made a big improvement on my driveability.

Oh ok.

So far I've only seen the SPL RLCA (and FLCA), are there other companies that offer them???

Thanks!

Yeah, there's not much to pick from on rear lower contol arms. Besides the SPL's which are out of my budget there's the OEM and PDM Racing sells a OEM set with Whiteline polyurethane bushings pressed in. I'm gonna go with the OEM set with new rubber bushings...the Whitelines are up there in price also. I did get the PDM Racing OEM front lower control arms with poly-bushings though.
