This took much longer than it should, I blame it on being a vert, everything was kind of a pain. Vert door panels are the devil, that's all that can be said for them. Changing the antenna motor today sucked *** (no room at all + big hands).

OEM fronts are 4x6 and rears are 5.25". Used the plastic pieces from ebay for the front to hold 6.5s (still had to be trimmed a little to fit the speaker).

Now for the info and pics. Sounds great, should have no problem hearing event with the top down.

Going in:Sony Xplod CDX-M8810 CD/MP3 player (w/ remote)Crossfire VR404 – 4 Channel AmpMB QUART DSE-216 6.5" Component speakers – Separate tweeter (front)MB QUART DSE-213 5.25" Component speakers – Separate tweeter (rear)Crossfire VR602 – 2 Channel Amp Polk Audio (Momo MM2124) 12” Subwoofer

4-Channel amp under passenger seat.

Definately recommend this sub, I couldn't imagine how loud 2 of them would be.

Look, no more antenna always up. And the player lowers the antenna while CD is playing (wasn't use to that and thought new motor wasn't working, was getting pissed).

I'M SO JEALOUS!!! You don't need self-tapping screws to hold in the fabric on ur panels! hahaha.

Biggie.. Nice thread!

I've never seen such a clean stock interior. Look at your door panels... they aren't even coming apart like every other 'vert.

Really clean job of mounting those tweeter components. Great work!

I'm going to add this to the Facts/FAQ's sticky as an example of what can be done with audio on the 'vert.

Don't get too excited guys, there's a reason I didn't take pics of the driver's side door (3 screws on top part of insert )

And yeah, I have no trunk space, but I didn't have much to begin with, and it won't be hard to take the sub out if need be.

Thanks.

Probably not, sounds good as is and only the trunk rattles a little at higher base settings.

It was worth the $20 or so that they cost. Seemed like ABS plastic, was good fit on the holes to mount it, just my speakers were a little big to fit without trimming the inner diameter. On ebay search "speaker adapter 89-94 240sx).

I haven't even really listened for where, might just be the license plate frame or something. Might be swapping trunk lids soon anyway.

I may be blind but for some reason I have not seen any pictures that y'all are talking about seeing. Clean interior, door panels, etc. I thought I looked for the sticky also but see this same thread. no pics. ????

I believe my browser is working fine. I see no "links" displayed in the thread that Biggie started on 11/6 06. I see all other pictures when they are in a thread. I can access the one you sent of the door on Biggies 240. Crystal clear. Not sure what the problemo is. oh well.....

I am going to post my trunk as well showing some more ideas on how to mount your gear... keep in mind with mine you can still fit your boot in your trunk...
