whats up guys, i'm afraid im a bit confused. these sideskirts i got used, said in blue ink "s13 180sx" before i painted over them ... but recently some have claimed it to be the silvia K's side skirt. can anybody verify what these are?

Can someone also post a picture of what Silvia K's Rear Valances look like? i can't find pictures anywhere. (nico zilvia)

thanks!

C'mon chuck.

95% sure they're 180sx sideskirts because of the way they curve at the bottom, Silvia ones are not as aggressive looking.

Edit: unless these are aftermarket.

yes they fit , ebay is the best bet for oems or panda garage, seems like they are in such demand that people pay 300+ for busted skirts with holes. cracks etc.

Nissan offered 3 different side skirts for s chassis. Sure, only in Japan.

1. 180sx side skirts that you have on your car. It's one piece but looks more aggresive than Silvia Aero side skirts. Has droopy front and rear bottom compare to Silvia aero.

2. 180sx Type-X side skirts(2-piece each side). See above picture.

3. Silvia Aero version. This looks best with S13 coupe IMO.

Those are for 180sx, so they will fit perfect on your car. Trust me. OEM aero fits like glove.

Edit: this silver one's look like they droop down front and back of skirt, doesnt it? no? doesnt look flat to me.

okay, my skirt looks identical to this one. but you said that i have the 180sx sideskirts? (the pic says i have the silvia k's aero skirts, but you say i have 180sx skirts) confusssseeeedd!

maybe a pic of 180sx sideskirts for comparison to silvia k's?

ken, these aren't replicas.

I know what you mean. Those 2 look VERY similar, so you have to look at them carefully. No, they are NOT same. I know this because I had both pairs in my possession one time and compared them side by side. Silvia aero side skirts have round bottom, but yours is angled with sharp edge and also have droopy front and rear. Most of all, Silvia aero side skirts have matching rear valences, but yours are not because they were for 180sx.

Okay. I have a picture of them side by side, so I'll post it tonight. I've seen some S13 coupe people buy 180sx side skirts by mistake since they look very similar.

I'm not a fan of mixing bodykits, but line flows nice on your car. Good taste...

doesn't the silver silvia look like it has a bit of a droop at both ends? my eyes are playing tricks with me now. also, about the matching rears, the guy i bought it from swears it's the k's side skirt, and he has the k's matching rear valances that im probably going to get. (he also claims that if it was a 180sx skirt, it would not fit right on a coupe ... mine fits like a glove.)

still confoosed

Yes, there's a bit of droop at the ends, but not as aggressive as yours.

No, those skirts are not from Silvia. They are from 180sx. IIRC, they are factory option for early model 180sx. Those rear valences will not match with your side skirts. If you don't care, you can install them, but if you are picky, you want those rear valences with aero side skirts.
90 DGRZ wrote:(he also claims that if it was a 180sx skirt, it would not fit right on a coupe ... mine fits like a glove.)
Side skirts will fit on both coupe and hatchback perfectly cuz there's no difference. On the other hand, rear valences are not interchangeable.

Don't get confused. I'll post pictures tonight. I hope this thread helps other people who consider buying side skirts in the future. Escpecially S13 coupe people.

If you check it thats the optional parts that includes the type-x. 180sx oem sideskirts are on DGRZ's .

DGRZ- it looks okay, just doesnt flow perfectly with the other kits.

i'm not that picky about matching every piece, im all about mixin n' matchin, trial n' error, to create what i call me own

of course 180sx rear valances wont fit on my coupe, so the only "genuine" nissan rear valance for my coupe that would be left (the one im getting from my friend) would be the silvia aero, correct?

anxious to see pics.

There you go! Yeah, my pic shows bottom portion of each side skirt. One is angled and the other one is round. Are those R34 GT-R rims? They are pimp.
