Okay, I'm at 253K miles. I compression tested my KA a week or so ago and everything turned out cherry. The results. What about you guys? Who's over 200K? How's the engine running?

253k as well.

Compression is fine.

I'm saving up for an engine swap. I'm debating SR/RBxx/LSx.The motor runs so so, I don't think it's actually at 253k though 'cause I would of probably blown it to **** and back if so. I think the transmission syncs are off for 2nd gear though. =\

When I'm finally done with the car though, it will be all new!

If you don't mind. I'm going to use your sig :D

i'm not there yet, but its good to hear that your ka is still healthy after all those miles. I currently have 126K and it still runs like a champ. I can't wait to hit 200K

I also took out the secondaries in the intake manifold we'll see how it feels when i get it back on the road again.

No, you get the option of putting a graphic that cost me nothing in your signature. Feel free to edit as necessary.

lol yeah I realized that. I was being an idiot and saw that the person above that post had the same first sig pic you do, but lacked the unicorn bit. I assumed, succeeded in making an *** of myself too.

... which is rough, since Internet = serious business.

Did you know that in your first iteration of that sig "business" was spelled wrong? Maybe that was a mistake, but that was the best part. I thought it genius until I you revised it.

Ah hell... it's still genius: "The Internet... Serious Buisness."

Figures you'd be the only other one to catch that. I did like it more because of the "typo," but felt I needed a change and a genuine aZn seemed appropriate, given the target audience.

202,000 and runs good! I'm saving up for an SR20 swap though, just hope this motor lasts me until then.

not quite there Just rolled 180k going to school yesterday... it runs just fine besides a little smoke... but i dont have to add any oil ever... Its cool that we all have high *** mileage cars that run great... but it was something about my last s14 when you got in and looked at the Odo and it said like 027380 that just made me smile from ear to ear

255,842. The odometer works about 83% of the time. So there are obviously more than that. I'm guessing around 300k. Original engine, routine maintenance. New water pump, new thermostat, powersteering tension pulley from a 90 in the junkyard, new radiator hoses, plugs and wires, new alternator. KA24E
