Got around installing my parts. Installed the intake manifold, intercooler piping, bov, dumppipe, polished intercooler and turbo piping, and uploaded the power fc with new tune. Filled her up with fluid and try to crank it, but she wont budge. I think I may have a lose ground or power to the starter some how. Will check it tomorrow, and hopefully run again.

I also made a new gauge panel and cupholders. I know a lot of 240 people complain about not having one, so I made it for the hell of it. It has a small crack from where I stepped on it and its painted primered black, so Ill probably would need to touch it up some.

Heres my rb20det convertible---daily driver.

Wheels for S14, polished and painted.

Custom intercooler using XS engineering core. (No-- not XS power crap)

GT35r on HKS manifold.

Rb26 intake manifold---test fitting

Rb26 intake manifold installed with everything else. I got my friend to do all the welding of im, intercooler, pipings.

Custom gauge mount and cupholders.

Turbo/pipings/bov

Heres everything installed.

Yes, the valve covers bolted right on. The HKS manifold is a pain in the *** to work on. The turbo sits very low is a very tight fit as well. Even though I used the smaller compressor housing (.60 a/r) ,it would barely fit. Custom 3" downpipe all the way as well.

I know where there is a set of covers and the timing cover that are painted, I think, a light gold color. Not sure if the dust cover is with it though...want me to take a gander after I get back from Oki on wednesday?

Looks great. One question though, why did you go with the RB26 intake mani as opposed to a Greddy IM for the RB25? Looks like you've lost the benefit of the ITBs on the stock RB26 manifold, unless I'm missing something. Overall, looks good and I WISH I could slap a GT35 or even a GT30 or my heap.

Lookin' good. It's not the first RB25 I've seen with the 26 valvecovers...still not sure why one would do it though. Pretending to be a 26 is pretty lame.

lol, along with half of the people who own RB's (I got mine about a year and a half ago off eBay...)

those valvecovers are gorgeous, what's your plan for the timing cover? the rb25 looks terrible w/ the 26 covers lol. Sean at takara hooked me up w/ a greddy rb26 clear timing cover, i've been planning to go the same route as you except you already let the cat out the bag.

Thanks guys. I have been working on this project for roughly 5 years already. It was originally a kouki with a gt3251e on it.

About the Rb26 valve covers and intake manifold....I found a package deal awhile back and thought that I could make my own manifold for pretty cheap. I just cut it up and get friends to weld it for me. He also welded the intercooler endtanks for me as well. I just got the ITB in the mail not too long ago, Ill put it on there when I get a chance. For the timing cover, I cant really use the Greddy as the series 2 rb25 has that little hump on there. Im probably gonna get it powdercoated like the valve covers or something.

The manifold I got was from a member on here, about a year ago. It was brand new when I got it too, dont know where he got it from.

Probably a GT35R wheel in an E/S cover; seen alot of those advertised as "GT35R's."

Yes, Im sure its a GT35R. I bought it brand new from precision. I just got the E cover as the S cover would hit my mounts. I dont know man, why the hell should I lie about my turbo setup. Got coolant lines, engraved on housings, GT oil return with already built in restrictors from oil feed. Not all ball bearings turbo has anti-surge housing!

Not a fan of aftermarket body stuff... but that Vertex front end does look clean!

Interesting setup... what mounts did you use?

More pics of the whole car? When's she gonna run?

At no point did I state that you were lieing about it being a 35R, I sismple stated are you sure it is as it looks like a T series cover.I won't continue to waste my time and tell you what is wrong with that setup as obviously you'll feel to need to convice the world again.Good luck.
