No doubt about it. The car looks newer with clear tails. BTW, you don't have to remove rear metal panel.cmkelly wrote:Whoops! After...
Yeah, that's what I figured. Mine got stuck pretty good too, but I pushed the whole thing really hard from the inside slowly and finally they came out. But if you do it in summer, it should be easier. I did it in winter. Anyway, looks awsome.cmkelly wrote:You don't have to it just makes it a whoile lot easier to remove the lights. Mine were stuck on pretty good and I didn't want to damage anything pulling them out. It was four more nuts plus it gave me the opportunity to clean it up
Yup!!I think red tails look definitely good.donmeca2020 wrote:looks pretty good, have anybody tried putting a red overlay on the clear part for all red tails? i think that would look nice. illegal but nice lol
That is bad as hell I like that...94_240sx wrote:

Yeah... I think they look even better with blue car. You know what I mean?Fahaka wrote:

As far as I know, eBay is the cheapest place. About $140 shipped. Haven't seen cheaper than that.project240.info wrote:Can you tell me where you bought your tail lights and for how much?
I've been searching and the best price I've found is ebay.
Any leads for the best deal?
cmkelly,Have you noticed brake lights look kinda pinkish at night? I swapped bulbs with red ones and look MUCH better now. You should try that. Somehow that bugged me. I don't see amber turn signal bulbs on your car. Did you take the picture before you put the bulbs in?cmkelly wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem
FYI,http://www.sherco-auto.com/minilamp.htmcmkelly wrote:I haven't really noticed it. It does appear, however, that one of the tail lights is a little pinker than the other even when they're not lit up. It's barely noticable but I can tell.
I have installed the amber lights but have not found dual-element red bulbs yet; haven't looked too hard but would like to replace the stock clear at some point...
hmm... what's winter in texas like? 70's? 80's? that's not winter. take those 0's away and you'll have the morning temps here where we have real winter.94_240sx wrote:. . . if you do it in summer, it should be easier. I did it in winter.
That's the very first thing I did when I got my G-Corporation clear tails. It was VERY pinkish. 1157 is the bulb number.ishkabibble wrote:Sorry about the accident.
Hey, seeing this thread reminded me that I need to pick up red bulbs to get rid of the pinkness.
