OK, here is what I was thinking of doing. I have about 1/3 of the parts right now.

T25 X02 mani Ebay 3" turbo elbow/downpipe SR sidemounts intercooler 1G DSM BOV Enthalpy ECU 555cc Deatschwerks injectors Walbro pump N60 MAF

I was thinking of running 7-10 psi daily, with 12 psi for high boost setting, and MAYBE an occasional run at the drag strip at 14-15 lbs. I realize the SR sidemount is quite small so the only way I would run over 12 psi would be for a few rare passes at the strip.

I was thinking of telling Enthalpy to tune to 15 psi, and then just run 7-12 psi 99% of the time.

**Also, I would never run over 12 unless I threw some Race gas in the tank. ANd I have a friend with a wideband, so I would run it on that each time I increased boost to verify a safe AFR.

Questions:

1. Are 555cc going to be enough injector for me??

2. Assuming the compression checks out good, does anyone see a problem with an occasional run at the strip at 15 psi, provided I give lots of time between runs to let the intercooler and everything else cool down???

3. WIll the intercooler be good enough for an occasional run at 12 psi on the streets???

4. DO I need upgraded ignition to go over a certain boost level????

5. WIll the MAF be able to support this much boost/power??

seeing as how you would probably only be at around 250-260 whp 555cc are more than enough infact i think they may be able to >350whp on our 2.4L

So injectors are good to go.

WHere does the MAF max out at??

And the ignition thing confuses me. I don't know at what point an upgrade would be required.

i am right now in the process of peacing a kit together a lot like yours, what was already said was yes the injectors will be fine, i will be using the stock injectors from a ca18det and turbo, i however am using a fmic . just from my research i would say that 15 pounds would be a little pushing it, 14-15 is normally how much the stock motor will handle with a front mount, now i have a question for u, i will be finished putting the turbo set up on by friday for sure, but will not have enough time to get it tuned by sunday for import wars in milwaukee. do u know anybody who can quickly street tune it so i dont blow it up, or do u think i will be ok? get back to me please!

I wouldn't run that turbo over 12psi you risk heatpumping it especially w/ a sidemount. Running over 1 bar is almost borderline on an SR. Try getting a nice frontmount from the beginning. They are so cheap ($250). Better now than upgrading later , also it will make it safer for your engine at higher boost levels w/ a T25.

Threadjacker!!! No, but if you are using SAFC for tuning, try here: http://www.ka-t.org/forums/vie...guide

Look for BillKline's post with his settings. He ran a T25 with 370cc injectors and stock MAF. He had his setup tuned with a wideband, so his setting should get you "pretty close, assuming your setup is similar to his.

Well, you could try going to the link I posted and look for the section that has the name BillKline in it.....

Here are his SAFC settings:

"27% across the board means that for each throttle point on both HI and LO settings, set it to -27 to make it basically equivalent to what the 270s put out for fuel, but you'll be using 370cc's so you need to pull -27% counteract the size change.

This is the setup I got from a fellow BillKlineVT
