So i finnally got my 350z wheels painted and installed. My dad and I did the work on the wheels ourselves. He did the spraying. I helped with the prep work. The color is called citrus gold metallic and its a factory ford color. The tires are nankangs and i'm very pleased with them so far. Heres the pics, enjoy!:

I also put a cb radio and pa speaker on my car It rules. I am really having fun with it so far...

Heres the radio:

Pa:

I used a cellular look a like through the glass antenna from radio shack. I mounted it at the bottom of the rear glass and pointed it toward the roof and kept it close to the rear window so its not very noticable at all. It picks up my friend well and has very good range so far. I gotta go to a cb shop and have them tune it w/ an swr meter so it will work better..

Well that does it, hope you enjoyed the pics!

Sweet ride, but I really don't like the color of the rims. I like the look of the rim on the car, but I'm not digging the white and gold scheme. Just a personal opinion, don't let it get you down.

Now im usually a big fan of gold wheels, but something about that particular shade and that particular wheel shape on that particular zenki makes me think that it'd look much better if the wheels were a darker gold, almost bronze color.

Other than that, looks nice. Sweet car. Diggin' the radio.

ok, so with every thread like thisI must ask, how did you paint them?I think I'll paint my stock sevens the same color and throw on some spacers.

hell I'd even pay you for however much cans are needed to paint the rims if we don't have any down here.... looks much better than edS13's photochop of how they would look I love em.

Those wheels look good on your car. FTW 5-lug jealousy. I'll bet they would look even better in black.

The pics actually don't even show the real color. The color matches my car so well. I'm working on trying to take a pic under the right lighting to show the real color. They look much better in person.

And i know it looks monster truckish and they are slightly sunken, but its not all that bad. A drop w/ kts and some small spacers would probably solve that problem , and that will come eventually.

As far as my color choice, silver is to bland on white and i don't like black wheels as it hides the nice spoke design IMO. Gold was the best choice and i love it!

They were sprayed by my dad w/ a air compresser spray gun, no spray bomb cans here, LOL.

Thanks for all the good comments guys, keep them coming!

The chassis is higher off the ground, but anything looks like a monster truck to me, I like the slammed look

It'll look great with a nice drop
