Anyone running a HKS GT-RS turbo on their RB20 or 25?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Supposedly the GT-RS is good for 400hp give or take, and should spool faster than a garret gt30r (one of the upgrades I was thinking of). Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this turbo. My goal is 300-350ish hp with as good of response as I can get. Originally I wanted a HKS GT2530, but if the RS will spool almost as fast and be good for more power, i'm all over it.http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product ... 672&rsku=0

Sounds like a great turbo for your goals. Isn't there a cheaper ballbearing turbo you could get that would do the same thing? I guess the only thing is it wouldn't be 100% bolt on. You would need a custom DP but that isn't too hard to do.

If there is a cheaper equivalent, i'm all for it. But as I understand it the GT-RS is *roughly* a GT2540 turbine mated to a 30r compressor. So i dont know if it would be any cheaper to have a turbo shop custom make one similar, or to just buy the HKS one. Of course those 500 dollar GT2530's that appear on ebay every once in a while are pretty tempting.
