need wiring info for safc 2

i did search no one talked about wiring.i bought mine used so i have no color codes for what wire does what.my computer does not have enough memory to pull pdf files from apexi.please help where the wires hook up or is it the same as sr20

It's different than the SR setup. Here's a clip I took from the apexi manual. If you dont have a wiring diagram of the CA, let me know and I will upload that as well. If you do, then just match up the wires and you're set:

can anybody help me asap,mechanic is waiting on me for this info.what wires do i tap off the ecu for the safc II.

goto the apexi site, and go under support and the manual for the safc is on there, you need to look at the n4-a diagram for the CA18. the knock sensor is pin 23, the only one not on that diagram. the diagram is on pg 19 of the pdf here http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfWiring/7.pdf

sorry about the delay splintercell. I havent been on the board in a while and I just got your e-mail.. I had all my work done, except for the power and I came on to here to see if it's been searched when I found out your problem was solved.

Knight, what do you need the knock detonator hooked up for? What does it do that the SAFC2 has to read?

well, it takes a reading of it, i dont think it accually does anything other than have a readout for it, even though the number really doesnt mean anything other than you can tell when it gets higher i guess, but i just put that out there cuz thats the only wire thats not on that diagram.

the diagram you posted is for the safc thus it doesnt show a knock wire, the safc2 added more adjustment points and a knock reading, apexi only has a wiring diagram for the oringinal afc wiring so i posted that, but it doesnt have the knock sensor wire on the diagram because the original afc didnt have that wire. therefore i put the information needed to hook up the knock function out there so he wouldnt have to ask later when his mechanic asks him what wire is for the knock sensor.
