Hey peeps wuz up. I know this site is devoted to Nissans and the love of them, but I know some of you appreciate American muscle too. Here's some pics of the car show I attended which was hosted by Hot Rod magazine last week. It was a good show, I would have taken more pics, but I ran out of room on my memory card. N-E way here's the links

I went to a really cool show here localy by chance i had happen to be in town. There were Corvere's (sp?), Cobra's, 60's Mustangs, 60's and 70's Camaro's, all kinds of cool stuff. I tried posting but then my computer got all gay and froze and i didnt want to waste another hour just to upload them. Thanks for the pics though

The show was here in Columbia @ the Colonial Center/Carolina Colosium (sp). It was free to get in and there was a pretty good turn out. There was also an AutoX event over this past weekend, but I had to work so I couldn't attend.

Poor Impala SS. Someone must have accidentally ordered wheels 6 inches too tall.

That Solstice looks awesome.

That red Solstice was awesome, too bad you couldn't have heard it because that was the real treat . I know that there was a modified motor, but I'm not sure which one. I wanna say that there was a v8 of some type cause that thing sounded raw when the guy was blipping the throttle.

There were some really good ones there, but I ran out of space on my camera before I got them on film. There was a turbocharged Rambler that put down over 1,000 whp on the dyno. I wish I could have gotten one of him, the compressor on that car was a beast. As a frame of referrence; it would be like comparing a t61 to a t3. I'm not lying when I say that the compressor inlet was literally the size of one of his headlights (approximately 3" diameter). The turbo on the Buick GN that I posted would be considered small.

It might've been one of these:

LS6/LS7 Solstice

Anyway, cool pictures. I'm not a fan of the paintjob on that CTS one bit, but CTS-V's are forces of nature, definitely my favorite current Cadillac product.

Yeah, it's all starting to come back. I'm pretty sure that it was the LS1 motor. I talked to a couple of peeps that I rolled with, and they were telling me that it was a corvette motor for sure.

That's an expensive performance package that doesn't even include the car, but the power to weight ratio would be so awesom. 400 hp and 400 lb ft of torque in something that weighs about as much as a Silvia would be one tough cookie on the road.
