Let me tell you, these pics don't do justice. The light is bright, with great color and light up the road great, best $220 i spent on her, which is about 4 full tanks of gas, not bad!! BTW, of course you know two of the 4 pics have HID on, and the other two has Sylvana's silver star, $20 a piece, stock 55w halogen bulbs.I love having projector headlights in our car.

That looks great.

Funny thing is that my right headlight is a little bit higher than the left just like you.

I would like to see pics of the front of the car at night with the lights on.

BTW what kind of bulbs do you have in your side markers?

Guys,

can I ask you a stupid question. Can changing the lights like this help somehow in getting your eyes less tired ? I have to drive all night sometimes.

Dominick, here you are.I think both the corner and side mark use regular 194, right? i didn't touch change them, and it had already been service by the stealer from the former owner, so i assume them are stock bulbs.elan, the HID light up the road a lot better. If yo do a lot of night time driving, of course it will be easy on your eyes, it will be safer for you ,too.

I am not going to put HID in my car if it has refllector housing, with the reflector the beam pattern WILL be unfocused, crappy lighting on the ground, blinding the on-coming traffic with too much glare, in that case, it would be a waste of money. And that why i said i am glade that we have projector headlight housing, did you look at how clear the light cut off line is, from the pics? it put all the light on the road, not to the on coming traffic, so the glare from the headlight will be minimum.

I agree with NismoChi, and besides the major problem is that a lot of people do not switch the high beam when they pass you by from your back and they blind you through the mirrors. That's less obvious than blinding the oncoming traffic but it has the same effect. And yes the pattern is really good the line is very sharp it should not harm the oncoming traffic especially if you switch to low beam.

Nice! Just $220?! Did you do it yourself? If so, how did you do it, and was it difficult?

Yeah, i did it myself. It is not difficult at all, the most difficult part is to find a place to mount the two ballasts, one for each bulbs.

it sounds like your headlights relay needs to be replaced, i would check the connections to the bulbs first anyways, but it is most likely your relay, it happens a lot to the J

chek out this info on fuzzycats.com to see how to change your headlight relay. you can also just open it up and use a soldering iron and get each solder joint hot again and melt the solder, or even add a bit more solder to ensure a good connection. i did that a few months back, and havent had problems since.
