hi all.my wife and i picked up a 94 pathfinder se 4x4 manual new year's weekend. drove it home (saginaw, mi) from west of chicago. overall, i'm dissapointed with the purchase due to so many little things being wrong with the vehicle: small fuel leak on the tank (i'm assuming - hard to see with that skid plate)
decent oil leak on the engine somewhere (haven't located the source yet - hard to get under there when all you have is car jacks and stands)
frame is rusted pretty badly
none of the console buttons work
front passenger window switch doesn't work (found that out on a rainy day - it goes down, but not up)
needs an alignment
speedometer, odometer, cruise don't work (probably need new vss)
underside is so rusty, i won't dare turn a nut/bolt down there. on the other hand, it makes a great winter vehicle. heater works good, it grips pretty well in the nasty winter weather (even though it needs some new tires), and it rides pretty nice. i paid around $2200 for it when all was said and done. (not including the gas, hotel, food, and time to go get it). i'm probably going to sell it come spring time and try to make some of my money back. i wouldn't mind getting a new pathfinder for next winter - maybe one that doesn't have so many problems or so much rust. i'd probably enjoy it a lot more if it didn't need so much work. i don't have any pictures right now, but i'll probably get some good ones this weekend.

Been lurking these forums for a while now...Attaching pics of 01 QX4. Let me know what you think! =) This baby runs Mobil 1 synthetic since 4 months old...has only 71,000km on it. Proud of it =) Not a lot of things wrong with the car. Love drifting with it...(awesome car for drifting BTW...) --usually in the snow, not too fond of crashing... Fav Features: 2WD MODE!!
4WD Mode in the SNOW (I don't know how people live with only 2wd on the eastern seaboard)
Wood Steering Wheel =)
Reliable Engine, Tranny, and really really quiet...
ULTIMATE FAV FEATURE: LIMITED SLIP DIFF!! + ATTESA 4ETS System! MODS:
Appearance Mods = see pics --yes, they are LED lights on the side. Rules prohibit underbody lights, so I improvised. They are for TURN signals ONLY....got tired of being tboned...

Probably follows the most aggressive service schedule...yes, I am paranoid.

this picture isn't that great - my camera was not taking good pictures that day - probably had something to do with the below freezing temperatures all day.
sure is a blast to drive in the snow. my suspension needs some serious rehab; however the underside is so rusty that i'm probably just going to leave it be.

anyone with pix of lowered 01/02 manual se (like ones offrd at 4x4 parts) mine is in blk and i plan on restoring paint via bodyshop waxing/compound and a lil touch up and should be ready for a shoot for this grp (cant wait to get this over with - plus breathing improvemnts and set of summr tires ( i narrowed it down to hankooks 285-50-18 and blk rims?anyone?) light wt all black tims/maybe blacked out 17s from the le models wouldnt be a bad idea (anyone with le 17 for sale? perfectly round/balnced?will be back to report progress!!??

Out 2001 QX4 4WD, daily driver! The only mods so far are the PIAA fog lights bulbs, 17X8 AT Italia Wheels, and K&N.

hey, whats goin on? my name is mike, i'm 21 from dallas, tx. i inherited a 2001 pathfinder from my mom when she decided to get an fx35. its pretty clean with 47k miles. i'll post up some pics later maybe, its really just a regular ol' pathfinder. jus sayin whats up, peace.

This is my 1st post over here. I saw that Tyler & Alex had already thrown theirs up so I thought what the hell. I am waiting on my 2" lift coils from AC but I am running 31" BFG MT's on stock suspension fro now, custom roof rack, like 7 lights on it, no rear bumper, Magnaflow exhaust etc, etc. Plans for the next 3 or so months include 4" more of lift (giving a total of around 6") from subframe drop, snorkle, custom front & rear tube bumpers & 33x13.5 LTB's. PS sorry about the "haze" in the pics but it's a really, really humid day here in NC.
97 Nissan Pathfinder SE with 2" AC lift coils, KYB-GR2 strurs, Rancho 9000 shocks, broken front & rear anti-sway bar (removed), Magnaflow exhaust, custom tube rear bumper, cut-up front bumper (falling off), Nissan Quest alternator, Warm manual hubs, custom sliders, skull sift knob, Herculined lower doors & interior, pine tree air freshener, custom roof rack, custom sliders, a bunch of lights, 32x11.5 BFG Mudterrains on 15x8 black Rock Crawlers, 8500lb Mile Marker winch, Cobra CB & external speaker, 1 Pitbull & a partridge in a pear tree...
