I'm talking about springs for S13's. I've always wondered if the Sportlines give the biggest drop, or are there any springs that go even lower?(Excluding cut or Ebay springs.)

Sportlines give the most drop of regular coil springs, but they suck. If you have any performance aspirations at all, don't get Sportlines. Get the Pro Kit if you go Eibach. Pro Kit + KYB AGX is a tried and true setup for 240s. There are plenty of other options as well (I have Tein S Techs), but Pro Kit is the way to go in the Eibach world.

I personally have sport lines, the drop is well nice when the car isn't moving. But once the speed bumps and pot holes come, look out. I drag my N1 duals over most speed bumps, (its eather the muffler "box" or the cat flange). They are a progressive spring too, so its ganna have a awquard feel since the more pressure on the spring the stiffer it becomes. I would have prob gotten something different, but it was an inpulse buy and really couldned turn down new springs and sturts for 200$ so.....

I've got sport lines... >_><_<Harsh ride.Didn't drop as much as I wanted.Really too stiff for high speed cornering. Will throw you out and back into your already uncomfortable seat.

Go with coilovers. Can't lose with coil overs. I have ground control on my svx, aboslutely amazing. Great feel, in control of where you want to go, rides like a champ. Just my suggestion, of course I denno how they are on 240s... BUT I guess everyone else says...use the pro kit.

I have the tein s-techs with 195/60/15 tires and orignal struts.

It was between the s-techs, sportlines or RSR drop springs. I thought about paying $800 for the basic tein coilovers, but I don't think they would have been worth it for me.

If I had to pick again, honestly, I would have gone with the sportlines for the lower ride height.

I don't race, drift, or drag, so sprotlines would have been a better fit.

So if I were you, I'd get the sportlines and not even replace the struts, or spend around $800 on coilovers.

Espelir 's are 1.9" in the front and 1.1" in the back. Or coming from a non coilover standpoint, the ground control adjustable springs can go pretty low. But again, I'm not sure why someone would want to go that low unless it's a coilover setup.

Thanks for the info everyone. Coilovers are a part of my future plan, but I just want something cheap to lower the car for now, because it's sitting super high, especially since I took out so much stuff. I just wanted to ask, because I can get brand new Sportlines with shocks for $200. I think I'm going for it.Thanks again for the help and pics.

I have KYB-GR2's and Sportlines. The ride is low and nice but the ride can be a littl more comfortable. The drop is 2.2in front and 2.1in rear. and I love how it looks. I am looking at the Tein S's they look like they drop about the same and i know the ride is a little more comfortable.

I am running Tien S-techs with KYB GR-2's and I love them. For me they drop it just enough to look agressive but I can still survive my daily commute around the Bay Area's really crappy roads. ( I know guys that have lost brand new carbon fiber lips and expensive ehausts from hitting uneven freeways at high speeds )

I got the springs for a reasonable price at http://www.racinglab.com for $140.00 They are a shop here in Hayward Ca. Really nice guys there and they gave me a free remote control micro car!!!!!

Eibach sportline? those are barely any stiffer then stock what dampeners do you have? They shouldn't be bouncy at all, expecialy since there progressive...

And if thats to harsh for fast cornering how are you gonna recommend coilovers which are on average 4x stiffer?

I have Intrax springs and they dropped my car 2 1/4 " in the front and 2" in the rear..Its a very stiff spring..so it ride very hard, you will feel every little bump in the road..But i like that and i love the ride and the look they give.

Eibach springs are no where near being a stiff ride. They give a better ride than stock ofcourse and gives a lower more aggresive stance, but imo, still too high. I know they lower your car more than the Tein S-techs do though.

If that info I quoted was right, I dunno how much lower they could make them with out stiffening them up a good bit. I would already be orried about bottoming out with front springs softer then stock, and being 2 inches closer to the bump stops.

Would you happen to have a picture of your car with them on? Does anybody else have experience or pictures of the Intrax springs? Thanks.

Hm, I really want the Intrax springs now, they seem like a very good quality spring, the stiffer the better, and how could you go wrong with purple.Would anybody happen to have pics?I think I'm getting them.

kgmm springs matched to kyb sr special shocks...............2.2 inches up front and 1.2 inches in the rear. it is the stiffest spring out there for the s13 as its 6/5. the ride is amazing and the stance is just perfect. remember that you can run a high rate spring and still have a good ride once you have the strut to match the springs.......
