G50 SHIFT KNOB REMOVAL

TOOLS: NARROW FLAT-HEAD SCREWDRIVERRATCHET10MM DEEP-WELL SOCKET

PROCEDURE: 1. Carefully pry up the button from the back inside edge (It should pop up quite easily)





2. Insert 10MM deep-well socket over the thin rod sticking out of the center of the knob. 3. Rotate socket counter-clockwise until nut is completely loosened from the threads.

4. Gently pull straight upwards on the shift knob 5. It off! Congratulations

Yeah, thats the project car ('91).

The drivetrain is in great condition but the interior needs a serious overhaul.

I'll have her back up to Q45 standards shortly
