I actually installed a Euro harness today which I got from Germany, and I have noticed the same thing. It wasn't as bad as I though it would be,
You should have 3 plugs on your engine harness where they go behind the battery, the two small plugs (gray and orange), most of these wires need to match them to the regular hook up where they go to the two connectors behind the battery, then you have one big plug on the engine harness beside the above plugs, these wires will go to one end of the ignitor (you need to find the two plugs of the ignitor so you can used them), and the rest of the wires that weren't hooked up behind the battery get put togther to form the other plug of the ignitor. If you look at your foldout pages of the fsm, you will see two ignitors, one marked for LHD, and the other one is for RHD. The LHD is on the right side of the pages and thats the one you need to use, the Three plugs are labelled on the foldout pages as E8, E9 , E10, these plugs are the lower marked plugs right above E116 plug.
I will post some pics of the project that I am doing, I have to say, I am very impressed with the ecu tuning program that I did , the car runs amazing. I retuned the ecu for 440cc injectors and Z32 maf, more boost and other variables, I like it, and I like it alot lol.
