Good Stuff™, Wes! If it is all right with you, I am going to add this information into the Basic Specs sticky too.

Thanks,

I'm attempting to replace the map lights over the front seats in my 2003 M45.

It appears this lighting guide, and all others elsewhere, are wrong about the dome light bulbs. They ate not DE3175. In fact they aren't even that festoon type of bulb.

The bulbs are acually round-topped with a locking bottom - similar to normal brake light bulbs. The only markings on the bulbs are "Toshiba A12V8W K-M."

I can't find these ANYWHERE. Not even on Toshibas website.

Any suggestions? Anyone already replaced these bulbs?

Interesting! The 2003 M45 service manual does not have a bulb type for the Map lights. It just says they are 12 Volt 8 Watt bulbs. No mention of any type at all!

I suspect the simplest thing to do is to get something that looks similar, with the same connector, from an auto parts store, with the correct wattage! Or give Joe Tsensky at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com a call - he can probably assist you with these!
