Just threw them on and took it for a test drive... I bought v1s, never installed them cuz I never needed them, sold them a while ago, as soon as I sold em, I needed em, bought the v2s... bigger/lighter/MACKer! As soon as I unbolted the old drvr's side rod, the goo-filled bushing let loose like niagra falls... it was nasty... threw the brake deflectors on, smashed my fender well with a sledge from where the tires had been rubbing for 2 yrs, lol, and took it for a drive... holy crap, so awesome... now the only thing not fully adjustable is the front camber and sways tension. w00t

I <3 SPL

Before, oh how the bushings sucked...BAD...

That's the stock toasted bushing, with all the goo coming out!

Comparison...

Closeup of pillowball/toasted bushing...

One more of the old...

One more of the new!

Installed...

Another pic installed...

DONE. Brake deflectors installed, everything torqued to spec, and now just waiting to get an alignment!

I'm not really sure why I bought the brake defelectors other than just to show every1 what they looked like... as I have other plans to move air to the brakes... anyways... I'm worried about a rock or something flying up and ricocheting off of the brake panel into the wheel and brake...

...soooooo, I'm gonna take the deflectors off and coat them real good in a rubberized spray material, as I believe it may help to absorb some of the impact if anything does happen to fly up in there...it's only a couple inches off of the ground. It may not do much, but every little bit helps right?

heh

Camber, toe, and caster, all that really matters, heh, I have dampening adjustability... haven't had the need to change the ride height yet... and i've been on this setup for years...

But KTS coilovers are on the list... and approaching faster... but the motor will likely see some attention first who knows... may throw in a seat/harness/roll bar

that's not an order, it all goes in at once or not at all, don't get me started on the spinal compression discussion, i've been a frontrunner advocate for that as long as i've had breath

yup... i can vouch for SPL stuff... I love them.. I snapped my V1 and upgraded to V2..

they are awesome... and the brake deflectors hit everythign in sight because my car is lowered and the rims hit it too but oh well, now it has formed a shape that i doesn't hit anything..

Blue chunks of metal that sticks out is the win!

Is wat true? The chance of a large solid object bouncing into a metal wall and being defelected into a rotating assembly? Yes, very possible.
