All I can say for this meet is 'WOW!' I'm still excited with the turnout we had! I never forsaw that we would have more than double the turnout of the previous meets, and not everyone that RSVP'd showed! We had an incredible turnout of 28 cars and 52 ppl at Windstead's in Overland Park, KS Sunday the 26th. As far as I know, this was the LARGEST Nissan/Infiniti meet in Kansas City... EVER!
I had organized the meet to happen later in the day than our normal meets due to various auto-x and driving events around the KC area earlier in the day. There was a diverse variety of people and vehicles, everything from a father and son in a gorgeous G50 Q45 with G35 sedan wheels to a group of people packed in an S13 with a fully built CA18DET with a silvia front end and 5lug. Aside from the nice selection of S13s and S14s, we had a couple Z32s including a Stillen stage VIII++, a few B15 Spec V's including an R-Tune spec, and an array of white Z33s as well as one gorgeous G35 on Volks!
The food from windsteads is always good and all enjoyed the fries and shakes, mmmmm. After everybody was done eating, we headed outside to hangout and check out the cars. Despite the high-40 degree and overcast weather, it was actually pleasent outside and took the oppurtunity to talk with each other about modifications and plans for their cars. Many new faces sprinkled the crowd, and all were extremely nice and we were very glad to have them attend! I snapped some pictures before the sun dissappeared over the horizon and they are below, however some people left before I had the oppurtunity to snap some pics.
The meet was simply a BLAST and we can't wait until the next one, which will be in around a month from this one. I'm very excited to watch the number of attendees steadily grow and I'd like to personally thank all that came out and made it so much fun! It's because of you guys this is possible!
SEE YOU AT THE NEXT ONE!
And here's OUR VERY OWN Float_6969 in the flesh!
