try suspension forum, drifting forum, 240/silvia general forum, basically anywhere but here will get you a lot more information. here we just talk about child molesters and jesda's pants ****. no relation.

I hear good and bad about both. Like was said before, run over to the 240 and suspension forums, maybe just run a search of those two, I bet you'll find every bit of commentary by people who've got both that you could ever want.

The miata guys like the Tein SS's and Flex's. When I was looking for a miata and wanting to prep it for ST2, I was going to get the Tein Flex.

I don't think they make them anymore, but I had a set of TEIN HE's on my 240 and loved them. The car felt like it was on rails.....very adjustable full coilovers.

Fairly sure the Super Drifts are almost the same as the HE's.

super drifts are supposed to be HE number 2, they said the HE was a test bed for the super drift.

Tein basic is not going to be as good as the megan for performance since it lacks adjustability and stiffness that the megans have, but it still might be a better made coilover overall, only time will tell.

Tein basic are additionally not inverted monotubes. Some may argue that this will cause a performace dropoff during hard driving due to bubbling or foaming of the damper lubrication/sealing oils.
