Looks like it would according to this ebay seller:

I never knew that's an option for CA motor, any benefits in going this upgrade?

Thanks!

maybe its just me, but that transmission looks looooong. i'd imagine it would be longer than the rest just because of the extra gear and acompanying hardware. I know the rb20 transmission in my shop is shorter than that. it lacks that 3rd removable section in the rear and i think our transmission is also only two parts. maybe it can bolt up, but i think you'd miss the shifter hole by a bit.

I don't know about benefit, but there's lots of hassle. The S15 has the speed sensor located in the diff rather than the transmission, so you won't have a speedometer. Next, you would need a custom driveshaft. Lastly, the 6spd boxes are supposedly weaker than the 5spds.

If you put the s15 helical and half shafts on and had the s15 speed sensor you'd be able to read the speedo. But you'd def need a custom driveshaft, and the 6spd's are weaker than the 5spds. Most people looking for big power like to swap out the 6spds in favor of an s14 5spd.

That transmission is pudding waiting to happen. Stick with the near unbreakable 5 speeds.

I've never heard of the bellhousing swapping either... In fact I've always been told the opposite.

the bellhousings dont swap, i had a look already.

the 6 speeds only break over 400whp and more,

the ratios of the 6 speed are SWWWEEEEETTT!!!

it would be easy to weld up the holes and weld on/make an adapter plate drilling out the new holes needed, i also think the S15 SR 6 speed is the pull type and not push tyoe clutch or vice versa, and the clutch is completely different and you'll have to use the SR flywheel too if i remember too..
