Yeah.. so I'm in the process of getting my own vert. My plans? swap everything off my SRed hatch to the Convertible... did not pay a lot for it.. only 1400$ and the body is mint. It's on the way to Montreal all the way from SoCal.

I think I am ok. I've read a lot of posts, espacially the auto to manual conversion which I found VERY usefull.

DUDE thats EXACTLY what my vert looked like when I got it and I stripped MY sr'ed hatch to equip MY vert... haha good luck man theyre fun cars!

Do they feel in anyway sluggish?

My vert is noticably slower with the same exact motor/trans in it as my hatch had, and obviously the chassis is going to be noticable less responsive without bracing/rollcaging it.

did they stich the top. It looks like ther was a cut on the side. But man what a deal. Have fun.

hell yeah they feel sluggish, its a wet noodle, and you defintely feel the extra weight, I know my coupe felt way faster with the same motor, trans, and diff in it.

Yeah, they did... I'll have to get a new top...

I dunno what to do.. go with my SR20DET or get a VQ35DE swap in there...

It could be cleaner... but i like it... i'll get the car cleaned up once it passes the inspection.. next winter, i'll swap over the parts from my car to the vert, get the pillars removed and she'll be a real monster.

nice car man, same exact one as mine, lol my back window was crusty when i bought it too. and give that engine a cleaning. other than that, nice ride man
