5 lug conversion and 300zx brakes!!!

what are you doing for the rears? did you swap the whole spindle or just the hub? and did you retain the Z drum e brake?

yes it is just the hub i have my factory spindel

I got some 95 SE 5 lug spindles for all 4 corners today, gonna go with stock SE brakes for now and probably get the Z33 track rotor kit with the spl parts Z32 caliper relocation kit. It will be awesome.

the rear all you need is the hubs and the front you need the hub and spindles

nah my rear bearing is messed up so I just got the whole spindle.

that makes no scense because the hub is the bearing and it comes off the spindel.. but hey i guess you know what your doing.

the hub is seperate from the bearing.

But he wouldn't sell just the hubs anyway, I had to bust his balls to get just the spindles... mf'r wanted me to buy the rear end as one piece, whole subframe... and it wasn't even complete. I don't have money or space for that. He was like 'well we don't seperate them.' So whatever, I told him $200 for just the spindles and he said ok, and I've been to nearly everydamn junkyard within 45 mins of my house the past few weeks and this was the first full set of 5 lug I found.

sorry to grave dig, but how did you use your ebrake again?z32 rears with stock ebrakes?..i need to install my rears but the ebrake got me stumped

you have to take off the ebrake assm from the 300zx spindel and put it on to yours.

then run the lines like in the picture go to a auto parts store and find littel ruber clamps to hold the line down.

then put the 300zx hammer looking things where yours was. ( just folow the ebarke line from your 240)

where did you get the calipers?

i got them off a junked 300zx and put the red caliper brush on paint.
