HUGE props to Matt, who generated, designed, researched and coded this entire thing HIMSELF.

It's clearly the best-looking Skyline page on the web, bar none.

R32 Rb20det -> (Improved) R33 Rb25det -> (Improved) R34 Rb26Dett

Isn't this correct?

"The 1990 model R32 was released with a new motor designated RB26DETT. The RB26DETT is a 2.6 Liter, DOHC, 24 valve, in-line 6. It uses a six-throttle inlet manifold, has a bore of 86mm and stroke of 73.77mm which results in a total displacement of 2569cc. A compression ratio of 8.5:1, twin T28 Garrett turbochargers and a large front-mount intercooler help the RB26DETT produce a rated 280hp at 6800rpm and 260ft-lb of torque at 4400rpm. In most peoples' opinion, the R32 was underrated by the factory. "

Plus R33 only made 250hp. not 302hp.

This web site is totally wrong.

What was meant by the "The RB26DETT from the R32 was utilized" was that the car used the same engine--whether upgraded or not.

As for the 250 vs 302:First, that's RATED horsepower versus ACTUAL horsepower. There was a 280 hp limit in japan. There was a lot of underrating done in order to keep the cars legal. And second, I've never heard the number 250 stated anywhere as the R33's horsepower rating--where are you getting that from? Stated horsepower was 280.

1990 model came with RB20DET right? not rb26dett.

Rb20det made 200hp. not 260hp or whatever. how can nissan underrate 60 hp from the car?

I'm very sure it's not RB26DETT.

if the statement is correct, where's RB20Det and RB25DET?

The site is confusing. How can R32 has more room than same R32?

1995 R32? no way. Even site says R32 was made year between 1990 to 1993.

I'm not talking about hp. it's the wrong engine in wrong year.

common man. you know what i'm talking about.

The site includes only GT-R models. All R32 and later GT-R's were RB26DETT equipped.Yes, the R32 did come with an RB20DET--in the GTS-T.The RB25DET is from R33 and later non-GT-R models. And yes, there was a 1995 R32. The VSpecII was made after the R33 hit showrooms.

The site should put warning statement "it's GT-R only" or something. To many people call Skyline an GT-R.

The site IS GTRclub

If there are any mistakes on the page, LMK, I pulled the information from a bunch of different locations and combined it. The R32-34 GT-R's all used a version of the RB26DETT and I believe the engine upgrades are listed in the doc.

First of all, Congrats on the wicked GTR site.Well Done !!!

GTR R32-34 all RB26DETT.

R32 GTS-t and GTS-4 both had the RB20DET

R31 GTS-t had an RB20DET red top motorR31 GTS-r had an RB20DET-r red top motor, with bigger turbo, bigger dump pipe, Short shift kit, and a limited run of around 700 or so units.....

I'm just rambling now.... but the R32 GTR had the RB26DETT, aluminium hood, front grille, wider body for the wider rims, HICAS, and 4WD.The GTS-t, with the RB20DET, was 2 wheel drive, and the GTS-4 had the RB20DET and 4WD, kinda like a hybrid between the GTS-t and the GTR.

and ALL of them are available here!!!

Yeah, but you have to deal with all the kamikaze drivers there. My buddy who lived in SA had a older Toyota Hi-Lux Raider with huge bull-bars all around to keep cars from running into him on the roads there....

Matt, my only suggestions are to reduce the file size for the thumbnails (they are a bit slow, and I'm on cable). But that's easy enough to do.

Also, I'd replace the html for the thumbnails with javascript for them to pop up. You can steal the java from the ROTM pages. I'll do it sometime this weekend if you don't get around to it. Just let me know.

Fantastic website you guys!

That's great!

Here's my favorite line, "The R32 GT-R notched up a whopping 29 straight victories out of 29 races. The GT-R proceeded win the JTC Group A series championship 4 years in a row, thus earning the name "Godzilla". "

I was just waiting for MoD to chime in with a Kenmari comment.

If I ever win the lottery or something, I'll make sure to send you one.

So if I could actually get one over here (obviously not a real GT-R, but an L28 Kenmari), would you buy it?

What's wrong with saying Java? Should I use the term Coffee which is what I drink while coding?

The only real problem I see with that site is a few typo's. Nothing major. I found this one in the R33 section.

The interior has the addition of oil-temperature and torque distribution gauges. Airbags are now standard as of 1995. With the additional length, the R32 GT-R is more roomy than the R32 version and offers more trunk space.

you used the same interior pircute for the R32 and 33.
