The world is a harsh place, my mighty 240 took a very large hit and it's going to be MONTHS before I can recover financially from this. The pictures speak everything. I know it's not a motor blowing...and it's not a dyno graph. But you guys have had to put up with my pictures and comments for a couple years now. Remember we are together in our good times and bad.

what the hell? looks like something a soon to be exgirlfriend would do based on the color choice............i think death would be an appropriate retaliation if that was my car. i would definitely take a bunch of pictures and submit to insurance. ur gonna need a new paint job for sure and winshield.............be thankful that the interior is fine unless u didnt mention anything to us about that being vandalized........sorry to hear.

Interior is ****ed, along with some of the electronics. The windshield shattered in small spots and allowed the paint to run in....and down the dash, and onto my AVCR, wideband, turbo timer, etc. Essentially a 1993 240 isn't worth much to insurance, it's almost a guarunteed total.

And it wasn't an ex girlfriend. I have had my fiancee' for almost 4 years.

NOT cool.

I had the same thing happen to my Q45 a couple years ago, black enamel paint...

Hopefully it's an easy paint to scrub off. Looks to be water-based, get on it as fast as you can... it should clean up OK.

Jesus man I'm so sorry!! Thats absolutely horrible, that somebody could do that to someone else. My god, I dont know what I would do.

What is it, pink paint? The splash marks are odd, I cant figure out how it was done. Any other permanant damage?

your car is nowhere near riced out. If it was a discraceful car i would understand the motive, and yet it still doesnt justify it. But yes. Good looking car and just dont get the sensless violence. A mans pride and joy shouldnt be defaced like that

Well like your title says, I dunno what to say.

It totally sucks and I can only hope that you'll find out who did this and happen to see him/her/them, what ever, in a dark little alley and then........well I'm sure you'll figure out the rest.

It "MAY" be possible to grab a Mothers 3 stage polish kit and remove most of the paint. A high speed buffer could help too.

As for the windsheild, maybe see if there's one at a local wrecking yard.

True neither of these things will make your car back the way it was, nor will it make you feel better, but at least it'll look ok and save you some coin. Maybe over the winter try and save for new paint job.

Dude I'm sorry this happened and I hope it all goes well for you.

Take care.

Easy

After anothe rlook...that's not that bad.

New windsheild can be had for $200, and that paint will wash off, mostly.

Years ago, my mom drove her Mustang through a paint spill...and while it took me a few hours to get it off, it came perfectly clean and left no permanent damage.

That paint will EASILY come off the glass, and the paint will take some elbow grease, then a good waxing...plus the new windsheild.

Check which electronics may be damaged (many can get quite wet and still work fine once they dry)...I'll be you're allright int he end.

Keep your head up...

FL and OR, is this in a movie or something. Seems strange that someone on opposite coasts would have the same idea for the same car with the same color?

Oddly enough 5 days prior to this happening to my car that same M3 pictures were posted on my local board. And yes it's eerily familiar. Sad that they can't even be creative.

And yes the clean up process is beginning. I will be posting pics in the next couple of days of how it goes. The crappiest part is all the rubber lining on the 240 got stained and isn't coming off, also the sunroof well filled up with the pink **** and is a pain to come off. I will keep you all updated.

If it's staining hard rubber then try gentally scraping it off using a straight razor blade. Maybe use a bit of alcohol too then scrape it off.

Just a thought.

Good luck with the cleaning.

like what orion said, keep your head up, atleast the damage is mostly not permanent. time to get back on your feet and start scrubbing. what i would do is start camping out my car though and keep a good eye on it and put an alarm. then you can run out with a camera to take a pic of them and a base ball bat, and bash them in the knee caps.

Well my first reaction when I saw you posted this was...well...im not going to post that. It sucks that it happened...but you are somewhat known for running your mouth to people.

Hopefully you find out who did it and can take legal action.

Rick
