Does it make the noise with the car not running when you push and release the pedal?

If your sure the noise is in the cabin of the vehicle and not under the hood I would venture a guess that the plastic bushings on the return spring have worn out. There are 3 of them 1 on either side of the spring where it is attached to the clutch pedal housing and one u shaped one where the spring contacts the pedal. I am thinking its the ones on the side.

ok... i was looking at that last night not sure that was it.... when i put my head in there and look.... i saw the plastic bushing was only half of it in the hole.... not sure that was the noise coming from.... by the way it sound when i push the pedal in and out. the noise was coming from the spring....do you have the parts number and is it hard to replace that ? how long do i have til that thing going to slap on me ?

It will still function even if the bushings are bad , its more of an annoyance factor. Yes it will slowly eat into the metal or the spring but it would take forever to actually snap the spring since the movement is so minimal. It is a pain in the a$$ to reinstall the spring and takes a bit of finess to do it. you have to remove the pedal assembly from the car to do it. I dont know the part numbers of the spring off the top of my head. Just go to a dealer or contact one of our sponsor dealers and ask for the clutch pedal bushings.

Nope just do the bushings. I recommend you do all three at once. You could crack the other 2 when removing the spring to replace that one. Besides when your done you will be glad you did all three. Trust me on this. That spring is a butt load of fun to reinstall....lol
