Ok guys driving home from work, in this crappy pouring rain, and I feel a drop of water on my arm I figure it must've just come off my head or something (ran into car through pouring rain) Then another, and another...

God damn drops of water are coming right through the crevices around the overhead lights and right through the sunroof buttons!

So then I'm FLYING on the way home - pissed off because of this BS, I snap her open onto the on-ramp, take her sideways (on dubs ) and up to 90/95MPH on the highway. Whats behind me?

An undercover STATE TROOPER - $325 ticket!!!

Can this day get any worse!? All after 12hrs of working my but off!

What the hell is wrong w/the POS J30!?

Thanks

Haha, I love how all the little "nicknacks" of the J30 dont happen on my car.

But sorry to hear about your police troubles.

Check the subroof gasket, it gets loose alot, you may even need to replace it.

The best way to adujust it is just tilting the sunroof up and do it from outside.

The driver side drain tube was clogged, but after I unclogged it the rain stop - figures

The passenger side however was open, should it still not get the interior wet, even with one drain up front?

Also, the gasket, is this the outer lip? I need to look in sunlight tomorrow

Thanks!

Its usually drain tubes (which you found) they can be cleaned with forced air in a can.

Check the rubber seal around your sunroof, this deterioates over time causing small fractures which allows water to seep in.

Sidways up the on-ramp and then up to 95 mph? You're lucky you're not sitting in jail right now.

My memory's sketchy, but I believe they're along the front sides. They do drain down the A pillar. The tubes are fragile, so take it easy with the canned air.

Open the sunroof about half way. Then at the VERY front left and right corner of the spot where the sunroof sits when closed there is a hole.So obvious I cant believe I didn't see it first time around. If its plugged up with debris they may be hidden.
