very visual and nice write up!

Ive never heard of taking out the fuel relay while the engine is running to relieve the fuel pressure... Ive always taken out the fuel pump fuse first then crank then engine few times... interesting.

sweet write up. i was thinking of getting the tomei/nismo pump, cuz i've heard of these breaking down. plus i think the tomei/nismo one comes with more parts. what do yall think? walbro or tomei.

yeah. the job took me 2 and an half hours cuz i was busy taking photosi took like 80 photos selected just 15. LOL

i didn't use a new o-ring when i installed my walbro. but it would be nice.

as long as the oring don't expend, you don't have to buy one. (save $9.50 !!)but usually it does expend and it sucks when you try to fit it again.

regardless of expansion, you replace them anyways.

that what all the nissan dealer mechanics said. LOLit's all up to you. i didn't use one in my Q45, the trunk was always full of gas smell.

cool write up. I like visuals, haha. Where'd you get the fuel sock? I don't think mine came w/ one & dealership said they are discontinued... Autozone here I come.

dude this is perfect effin timing

i am ordering my kit from 240sxmotoring and installing it once my SR gets back, that way i will feel safer about boosting

I agree!

A lot of people need or do install one and this would be a good sticky for people to have as a reference

thanks for the write up. I am about to swap a CA18det and i will definitly get a new fuel pump. Almost for sure the Walbro... This will help a lot.

Great post - only one question. Did you actually splice those wires with electrical tape and put them into your gas tank that way or is there something better under that tape?

If it's only tape just make sure you scream Alahu Akbar every time you start it so you'll look like you exploded on purpose.
