Well, It was a good night! We had quite a few members there and several who just showed up. We all met people who we talk to all the time on here but never met face to face. I even found a KA for my S13!!

Fred(palmerWMD), Richard(Mantis3024) and I(paemt6220) All arrived about the same time, around 7pm. I have had the pleasure of driving Fred's Z for the last week so I arrived in Style for once!

Before long Dave(2BN-s13) and I think Jordan(IwannaS15) in the Sileighty, Shawn(Shahee) and his GF in the RB20 FB and Michael(240alty) in the SR FB arrived. There was also a FC rx-7, a B13, a Single turbo 350Z and that sweet JDM Fairlady there. The owner of that fairlady also owns this one, which he brought to another show Fred and I went to recently:

Terry(KOS), the owner of the Establishment where we met was also there with his pathfinder(one of his 5 nissans he currently owns!). His Z31 was in the shop.

We were talking, checking out eachothers cars. The lightning was getting pretty intense. We felt 1 drop, then 2, then there was about 2 inches of rain in about 35 min. We all drove next door to taco bell and ate until the rain stopped. We all went back to the Snowball stand parking lot and hung out until around 11pm. It started raining again so we called it a night.

Thank you to everyone who came out. A special thanks to Terry for letting us meet in your parking lot again!!

Your FC was nice Jared!!! Why would you say that you got no love ... LOL ... I own one too ... but you have to consider that everyone was suprised at the variety of cars that showed. I second that we should meet before the end of this month.

Sweet. What's with the backwards stickers on the SpecV? Kinda dumb looking IMO.

And...friday was the 5th, not the 8th. Monday was the 8th.

Tons of blue Z's... The wheels on that 2+2 are HOT.

Go back to your cage!!! lol

I loved that meet! You know, I will have been a member of NICO for close to 6 years now and this was my first official meet! I am so slow about some things I guess.

Good job with the RB 240, I was insanely jealous be cause of the way it sounds and how it will soon be a RB24!!!! Yes I said 24.

Anyways, I cant wait till the next one, I will try to bring more people I know so I can be the complete horses as$ that I usually am in mixed company. I hope you all enjoyed the sileighty and my bad jokes!

Nice little meet! I guess if I ever decide to move back to Baltimore, I know who I can meet up with.

I've been in L.A. for 9 + years now, but last month while visiting the folks in Annapolis, for the first time since I moved West, I considered the concept of moving to Baltimore again, but I know driving the smooth, empty fwy's with friggin' 55 mph limits and the Nazi MD State Troopers (more like SS Guards) would again drive me insane. Our fwy's are all at least 65 mph, and you can cruise all day at 80-85 w/o so much as a glance from CHP.

oh gosh...Officer Speed. I had the dishonor of growing up in the area where he operated (Hunt Valley - Timonium). He'd camp out by my high school before it ended and wait for the kids to leave. He'd write tickets to people for going 2-3mph over. I think what made him infamous is when he wrote his own mother a speeding ticket. Also, I think the speed limit on 695 is 55.

I know what you mean about the MD state police. They are the only police officers I've ever seen run out in front of cars in the middle of 4-5 lane highways and hold thier hand up to get you to stop. You couldn't pay me enough to run out and standinfront of people going 80mph! I truely can't see how none of them have been killed!

When I visit I almost never drive out of fear I'll be ticketed. I did drive last month when I was there, on RT. 32 from Annapolis to Howard County, it's got to be one of the smoothest, emptiest roads anywhere and it's got a freakin' 55 mph limit. My Dad's like "you want to take the Porsche?" I said hell no! They'd probably arrest me for speeding even if I was going under the limit in the right lane!!!! So I drove Mom's Lexus RX so I could look like a soccer mom and hopefully blend in, cruise control set on 58. My P's say the speed limits are 65 on rural areas and 55 around towns, well, they're 65 in town here, 75 in rural areas, and even on the 65 roads, you can safely travel at 80-85 w/o worrying about cops.

I just feel that at 80-85 you're cruising right along, and it's not unsafe. At 55-65 I feel like I could ride my bike faster. If I ever do move back, I will have a mission to try and get the speed limits raised in the courts.

If you show up in court with a ticket for going 2mph over the speed limit, they will throw it out immediately 100% of the time. The damn radar has a 5mph margin of error.
