We have updated the pricing here as a result of changes in the marketplace and changes in cost factors on each kit. As you can see, the Stage 2 kit went down and the other two went up, with Stage 1 having the highest increase based on previous pricing.
One of the reasons for this are the manifolds. We had a few things changed on them to make them more on the level of a high performance manifold and the costs had to be incurred somewhere. Good news is that the new manifolds now feature decked, 1/2" flanges for the head side, are velocity ported to make exhaust gasses flow even faster and are Port Matched to the head, which is a first for us.
The other reasons for the increases are based on supply and cost of all the other components in the kit, but we still that this kit is the best value out there in terms of expandibility and reliability.
Also, keep in mind, these are not basic T3/T4 turbos. These are using the newer 'GT' style wheels, 360 degree thrust bearings and double journal bearings which are upgrades we won't sacrifice for the terms of being less expensive. Being up front with you guys as always, even at our volume levels, these turbos cost over $880 alone.
That, coupled with the other high quality items in the kit, have caused us to reacess our pricing while still offering our family a great savings. Please take a moment to review our website and take note of the changes as well as the fact that we still have decided to offer NICO a great deal (-$400) on these kits.
A couple quick words on the kits for our new family:
The kits all include GReddy Type-RS Blow Off Valves with recirculation fittings, the Walbro 255 LPH High Pressure fuel pumps and SHIPPING to the continental US. All kits I/C piping and couplers will be black unless otherwise noted by the customer. The wastegates dump to atmosphere, many attempts have been made to reroute the exhaust gasses back into the downpipe and boost creep occurs.
The only things not "direct fit" are the wastegate dump tube and the intercooler mounting brackets. Only reason for this: all of our cars are aging and many of us are the 2nd, 3rd or who knows what owners of them. Things like hoses, braces, suspension parts and bumpers move over time, Nissan didn't always make them 100% exact, or the car has been in a fender bender which makes it impossible to have a perfect fit on everyone's cars. What IS included are the brackets themselves (you drill for best fit) and a flange and dump pipe for the wastegate (you fit and have aimed to your liking).
All kits right now are running a 4 week turnaround time, not more, not less. Yes it is a long time, and we are working on it, but we would much rather give you the REAL timeframe than to have you be disspointed because it doesn't arrive when we told you it would. I made a joke about the Snickers bars, but in reality what we end up waiting for the longest are the turbos from ITS. They make them for US only and they are 100% fresh cast, NEW turbos, and coupled with a 1 week ship time from California, adds to the turnaround time. Our business practice is to be up front and honest at all times for reasons stated above.
