Hey GreenI've recharged my Accum's with 1000 psi so my "A" is active again and rides pretty smooth. However, the controller has gone dead. I've checked the 2 fuses in the computer harness and they are OK. Do you have any clues what I might have stuffed up. Before I did the recharge the controller was working fine i.e. I could push buttons and the car would respond but as the accum's were shot the Q was carrying on like a yo-yo, up ....down ... while sitting at the lights. Now, the controller unit does not even light up and the Q is sitting pretty high. It doesn't even raise or lower when I start up and switch off. Anyway, if you do get your hands on a set of instructions for your controller I'd be thankful if you could forward me a copy.AussieGreenQ45a wrote:
Chapter 1:Where is the instructions?
I did receive the ASE664 in NEW condition I have all the Stickers and inserts that come with it and a single sheet of instructions in JP.
I don't think it could contain all this things features.
So far, I can get the Auto-Hight Speed control to work.
On the 1st try I set it for 60It worked wonderful the car never handled so tight I set it for 60 KPH oops so it lowered the Q45a @ like 43MPH ...LOL
Still it was crazy what a 1.5 inch drop can do @ highway speeds.
The steering was self-correcting\centering she would PULL herself back to a stright line. My aligment was OK but this was amazing it had never done this beforeIt felt even better than before.
I'm in search of a proper instructions sheet.
Any help wil be accepted!
SO far I'm in LOVE.
I can't figure out why Infiniti didn't make the Active Q45 Auto Speed\Height adjustable form the factory.
It does improve the cars handling and the MPG at highway speeds.
I still can't figure how to get it to go to LOW LOW mode though!
I would Like to thank MiniMan for the controller and RedmanFX for the Active CPU (My old one is toast and the ASE664 would have sat on the shelf if not for RedmanFX)
This is in NO WAY the write up
I first need some play time or an instructions sheet to figure out the other system functions.
This thing has so many modes I will learn them all in time.

Join the club! I don't feel so bad now. All my maint has prevented me from buying Ryan's car. Locked into a few deals and so forth. I'm just going to finish my Q. About $3500 more and she'll be done. Then I have to decide about a new JDM engine and supercharger!! or New used Q. ...GreenQ45a wrote:
Yo Red!!!
This would not be possible if not for you!
I will get you back REAL SOON.
The Q45a forced me to doing most of the 120,000 service this last week.
She got:New Belts, Battery, OEM alternator, OEM water pump, OEM Fuel pump,New Active CPU(from YOU), Active System Flush, and lots of bits and pieces here and there.
All I need now is a set of Motor and Transmission Mounts, Oil Pan Drop, Transmission Pan Drop, Under Plenum Kit and a Suspension Bushings Kit. and most of the 120,000 maintaince is done... Should be good for another 11 years.

You know I looked at your pictures, and I guess I am too dumb to know how to put it back together.texasoil wrote:No Comment onaccumulators.
Thorough 'post mortem' inspection of a noisy,120K miles fuel pump revealed : No measurable wear anywhere; very small amount of corrosion (rust?) on tips of rotating 'roller holder' in the pump showed evidence of slight rub on pump race--which would explain the noise- and higher current draw eventually. Posilhe doff same and smooth noise free operation resumed. Life expectancy based on above examination >250K miles
Hey Green, guess what I found in SEARCH. I'll print it out and nail it to the garage wall.GreenQ45a wrote:Sorry for the delay...
According to the information I've found your controller is very much like mine.
The main difference is yours has bar indicators and mind reads in Alpha Numeric\digits.
I have read that your controller MUST be Left alone for the 1st 10mins while it talks the the active system and figures out its limits.
On the other hand there are DIP Switches on mine to tell it what thecar is.
Does yours have dip switches (on the back)?
If it was my Q...
Run the car for 5 mins...Stop the car...wait 3 mins!!! (I was told to wait 3 mins by a NICO expert) Disconnect the battery's Neg terminal...Then unplug the wirharness at the active computer in the trunk on the right.Reconnect the OEM\Stock harness to the OEM\Stock computer leaving out the Pass-through active controller harness.
I would leave it unplugged from the main harness for and hour or so and go for a drive...
Then stop the car and wait 3 mins... Disconnect the battery's Neg terminal....Reconnect the Pass-through active controller harness at the active computer and un-clip the smaller harness's in back of the active controller (under the dash)....Connect the battery... Start the car(Active controller STILL detached under the dash)
If there is no ACTSUS light on the dash board turn off the car wait 3 mins...Remove the battery cable once more...Connect the harness clips...Connect the battery cable...Check the wire harness fuses...Start the car and DON'T Touch the controller for 10 mins....Then try it...
This is an overblown system reset...Some of it came from your own AUSSIE Toyota Soarer sites...Some came from the JP Datasystems websites.I have a weak JP translator so I through common sense in there as well...
Let me know the results please...
