okay everyone I searched and didn't find much on S13 speaker upgrades and I can't stand listening/blowing my 4x6's any longer. So I bought a few things and this is my gift to all s13 owners.

The speaker is a 6x8 (pioneer ts-g6840R $60 @ bestbuy) and before anyone says i put the speaker in upside down I needed to do that to have the wiring route the way I wanted it.

items needed:12x24 16ga aluminum sheet or steel 8 small bolts/nuts/lockwashersdremel with at least 5 cut off wheels and orange grinder to clean up the cut

Clears power window by a mm or 2 sounds much better than stock (horray quality sound) and stock door panel fits fine and takes about a day to do! thank me you know you wanna.

Its easier and better to use 6 1/2" radial components.

A nice setup is take your old bracket and trace it onto some thin wood... not sure what kind but cut it out and make a hole big enough for 6.5 speakers. Honestly though, round speakers will sound a whole lot better than any oval type but thats a nice setup right there. I have infinity components 6.5 hooked up to my front. Sounds hella clean
