Yea, that looks exactly like the pick-up I drove for three years =) Not the best get-up and go, but I'll be damned if it wasnt the most dependable vehicle I've driven with 200,xxx miles on it.Bandit240 wrote:The diesel models were 720 trucks, they are a little more squared off than mine. And yea ill be keeping this old thing around for along time. Its about 100 miles away from 79,000 so its just broke in. Maybe if i can find one ill stick a diesel motor in one of the other 2 620's i have.
This is a 720. This one lives right in front of me. Ive been trying to get the guy to sell it to me since it has all options (AC/PW/PL/Sunroof)and no rust at all. Needs a motor though.
No clue what butts up is, but that sounds terrible =Pgabossie wrote:playing butts up w/ my sister.
Where is this truck at? Im always in the market for another one. As of right now im about to head back to SC so i can make a little money to pick up a very nice one i found up here in TN. Its a 1979 King cab, black(faded), 130k on the clock, and only 2 small spots of surface rust. It seems that my luck has turned around for me on these trucks, my frist 2 were POS's.Graphfixz wrote:have you ever shopped around for a motor on those trucks? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine has one and I have been thinking of getting it from him and restoring to working condition... however, if the motor is too expensive then I wont get it.
that is the truck exactly. It is in AZ but I am not sure the guy is selling it. I have not approached him yet with the intent to get it from him.Bandit240 wrote:
