Changing sparkplugs to one step colder Copper:

Not so much a step-by-step guide but more of a snapshot album.

Shiedling the crank angle sensor wire.

This is an important step, as timing scatter from this wire due to interference, has been suspected as a causative agent of some forced induction engine failures.

Fuel Management unit, located behind passenger seat in the "glove box".

Do not bumb the pips as they regulate fuel and therefore A/F

Luckily they are all deeply recessed and difficult to bump except on purpose. This helps control the auxility fuel pump and the AF ratio. Is very sensitive.

Even tho they are deeply recessed, plus there a little mat that goes over them, I am not currently using glovebox just in case...

J&S Ultra SafeGuard;

Thi unti is whatn I use as a timing solution, its an expensive solution as lesser units can be had for $150 and are a bit easier to install and this one retails for $500 (got it for less from Nico Sponsor).

The J&S is a really good fit for this car and this particular model is purpose made for the 350Z.

We used it to retard timing by one degree for every pound of boost above 3.

IN addtion this kit can monitor cylinders independent of each other and adjust timing by cylinder to prevent knock.

As most here will know, the 350Z' #5 and #6 cylinders are more prone to knock especially in FI as due to the plenum they tend to run a tad leaner than the rest.

The location that is shown in the pic in in the passenger right footwell.

Yes. I want it to be like reading crime and punishment. Hit us up with a novel, so I can live vicariously through you.

So tempting, but holding out for the 07 or 08 GTR.

I miss that car .

Sold it to a buddy, maybe I'll buy it back sometime but likely wont do that as long as i have the white Z33.

Wife would have no appreciation of me owning 2 FI'ed 2 seater cars when she has to rock the Cavalier

Quit playing, You know when you get back from Korea-town you're going to throw down a big bankroll on a new 370Z with the sport package.

On a sidenote I'm a little curious about about your screen name...Ft. McClellan training?
