97 touring with 17" rims hopefully going up to 18", same dark green which is very cool since it is lots of colors depending on light. I agree we need more love but it is starting!!

Thanks for the compliments MattB. To me the car looks and seems to drive even better with my set of 6-spoke spider wheels from a 2003 Q45 with 225-55-17s.The royal pewter color combination is my favorite for a FGY33.That or a 1994 Q45 in Ivory Quartz.

1999 Q45t - black, stock, 117k

I've owned it less than a week. I'll tell how much I love it when I'm done finding out how much the dealers hid from me. They were good.

Welcome to the board!

If you at least didn't procure the car's Infiniti dealer performed service history before looking at the car, your weren't looking hard enough.

Kinda like the sticky above zerothread/146826

At least you are reading the previoius posts and you will discover how to put your car right if it is possible.

And maybe an alert moderator will combine these two threads!

Good find.

Hey wassup guys Its an HOnOR to be a member. Just bought my y33 its a 97 q45 silver/black with 86,000 miles. I live in Rochester Ny and I took 4 greyhounds and 25 hour ride to pick up my y33 in Ames, Iowa then I drove it back in heavy rain with no brakes 967 mile's non stop 18 hours taking turns with my dad - No Problems filled up 3 times $37, $34, $32. I only paid $5,050 for her in the end when I got home my total price was $226 bus tickets, $50 for food, $103 gas, $300 brakes, $5050 car = $5730 owning a Q45 -=PriceLess=-

update::now I have 89XXX oil change new tires $100 interior detail w/ lexol treatment from Autofinishers. And currently in the process of ordering my suspension components

actually it had 86,xxx when bought and had I known about of this website I would of been a less ignorant buyer. I think I did top the boat with this one it was although dealer maintained only untill 73k that when the woman who I bought it from bough it from the dealer. I dont think she took to much good care of it though. The only thing I know she did good was oil changes Im big on that. The struts looked brand new but it rides like shi* I called joe today but mike answered and told me to call him back. One of my strut mounts is broken, but im changing all the bushing's and spring seats and inserts a.s.a.p switched to mobil 1 already with warmer weather come's the royal flush of all fluids but no matter how cold I cannot hold off the suspension project.

CANT GIVE ENOUGH THANKS TO THIS WEBSITE THOUGH

There has to be something more to the issue that 2 or 3 people are having with the Teins. Mine make absolutely no noise, my parents who are in their 60's, Dad drives a Porsche, mom a Lexus and both of them think my Q has a great ride. When I drive them from the airport to my place, it's comments like "this thing has a great ride being as low as it is" or "thanks for driving us in your limo....". In the 3 years I've sold the Teins, I've always gotten the same part number and only recently has ANYONE had an issue. I think it's probably either incorrectly installed, or there are other components in the strut and suspension that need replacing.
