Hey guys, i need help really badly and really quick.

while ago, i had a lil accidnet and one of my alloys was messed up. So i had to run stock alloys on the front and diffent ones on the back.

Now i'm getting new tires in 15 days, becuase its an inspection time, and i need to get an extra alloy.

The car is 1992 240sx se. and I simply need one stock wheel. I searched ebay, and found different prices, etc.. I'm willing to pay $50-$60 for it.

If there is anyone in Richmond, VA. or anyone within 50 mile radius, i'm willing to drive for pickup.

see pic below.

So what's the problem with inspection?

Do you need 4 matching wheels to pass inspection or something?

Check all the local junkyards and any used tire shops. You may get lucky and find one. I'm assuming you want to put the new tires on a matching set of wheels since your tread is too low to pass inspection???

gee, i thought i was the only *** on NICO.

i'm getting new tires, so i will be stuck with old, dirty, mismatched alloys on the rear again.

In my opinion functionality comes first, art comes second. But it has to be fixed someday, and this is hte day.

I have one that may have for $40. I live in Kensington, MD.

Its about 100 miles i think, but definatley within your driving radius. I could meet you near Alexandria if you want, but only after 7PM (traffic sucks in the VA/MD/DC area during rush hour).

I only ship VIA snail mail aka USPS.

I dont know what they weigh. Do you have a scale you could weight the old one on? I dont have a scale.

okay, i finally weighted it, and with tire it weights 38lbs.

For the alloy, I say it is going to be 25lbs. Please find out how much it would cost to ship. I'm going to get tires and alignment pretty soon.

thanks.

I wasn't being an a$$, I serously don't know what the hell you're talking about.

As long as it has four wheels, why would they need to match in order to pass inspection? I mean, wouldn't staggered setups fail otherwise, or having one pair on the front and one on the back like so many people?

please read the origional thread properly in the future before adding your comments.

As for explanation. I had an accident while having fun. Rear end was completely messed up. axles, control arms and one origional alloy was bent. So after fixing the whole thing, on the rear i had different rims, and on the front still the shiny origional ones.

It was my mistake ruining such a beautiful machine, and its time to return it to its origional condition. I need an extra alloy, beucase in couple days i'm getting four brand new tires installed and aligned, and i think its time to get it fixed. Or i will be stuck with the ugly looks for another 1.5 years.=====================================================

2BN_S13,

pal, where are you?? see how much it is for 25lbs when you get a chance, will ya?

you do know even if you didnt get it for a small fee you could have it taken off the old rim and put on the new one, you wouldnt have to wait 1.5 years...
