i clicked my brights on the other day and when i did, i hear a little snap and now the whole switch is loose and has no click anymore. when i put my left or right signal on, the brights go on and i have to jiggle the switch to get them off. you can see how this is becoming a problem on the road...anywayshop said the new part for it is 89 bucks and that the labor is about 89 bucks also. anyone know how to pop off the stearing collum and replace this expensive pos?

try familiarizing urself with fsm.

buy the part yourself

install it yourself and saves $89 the most.

u need a special tool to remove your steering wheel (u can rent it at autozone)

urs might be just the switch, u might have broken it off somehow. take the covers off.u might not need to take the wheel.

or just deal with the jiggle and you will get use to it and saves u $178!
