ATTN: warning about ebay RUCAs

ive been riding on some ebay RUCAs that i bought from ebay user 'deluboz auto parts' or something like that for close to a year. well, today i was driving down the road and ran over an asphalt patch like i would any other day of the week. i ran over it with both left side tires. right when my left rear hit i felt the back end slide and noticed immediately that something wasnt right when that happened. as i noted that, my steering wheel all of a sudden turns to the right about 1/4 turn and stays that way while im driving straight down the road. i stopped to see wtf was going on and saw that my rear wheel was tucked way up and back into my wheel well. i was only 1/2 mile from home and just drove it home. i got home and jacked the rear up. at first i didnt see anything broke and thought that possibly my coil over was ****ed. i then started to grab things and tug. i grabed my ebay RUCA and it was in two pieces. the part that broke was the piece that threas into the end of the control arm and it has the pillow joint on the end of it. it broke right where the threaded part meets the spherical part. sorry i dont have a digi with me or else i would post pics. be careful when buying some stuff off of ebay. i will be emailing the guy i bought them from to let him know hes selling some cheap ****. good thing i wasnt going fast around some curves.

thanks for the offer nismo freak, but im just gonna try and find the part i need. does anybody know the ebay user i bought these from email address? hes the guy that usually sells all of the cheap suspension parts on ebay. i looked on ebay for a while looking for this guy and he seems to have no auctions up right now. any help is appreciated. i went to ten different places today looking for the spherical end that broke. what a *****!

This is kind of the same thing....

Tein springs have been known to brake struts.It has happened to a couple friends of mine now.

good thing u were not driving hard or you could have been hurt. let us know when you fix the problem

Just drop your 'won' items to a history of 60 days (if it has not been that long that is) and you should find it. You will then have his ebay id along with the auction id. Go to advanced search and 'find contact information' then enter the auction id and member handle / ebay id. If not just look out for him and ask seller a question regarding your past purchase with him.

Sorry, I don't know what RUCAs are or what it stands for, but if I did I would help you search for him.

I searched for RUCA in ebay and got BS.

your effort is highly appreciated. RUCA stands for rear upper control arm. this is the piece that adjust the camber. i bought these arms almost exactly one year ago. i did everything i could on ebay to find the guy. i was just wondering if anyone knew the guy i was talking about and had his email addy by chance. thanks again

someone snatch up nismo freaks cusco ruca's i just got a new set, and they are definitly quality stuff. I could probably beat a grizzly bear in half with it. ok maybe not, but if it ever breaks I would be really suprised
