Ultimate rotor/caliper thread!!

so here are the rules...

1) only post rotor/caliper specs (car, year, model, diameter, thickness, additional information)2) do not write what you think. must know for sure.3) if it is stated wrong on here tell us and the information will be erased and replaced BUT you must provide a link that verifies the source.4) if there is a car not listed and you know the sizes post it and it will be added. again add a source so we can check to make sure.5) hope this helps.6) these are confirmed fits on 240sx cars. so in reality if you can use the Z32 rotors and calipers some of this may apply to the M30.

CHASSIS YEAR MODEL FRONT REAR ADDITIONAL

Calipers for 240sx:

1) Z32/S14/S15/Skyline GTS all bolt up. some may be iron or aluminum and either 26 or 30mm. but they all work

2) Skyline GTR calipers (R32 says Nissan on them, R33 & R34 non Spec V models say Nissan while the Spec V's say Brembo)

3) 350z track and G35 Brembo Calipers work in the Front

4) STi Brembos work in the Rear

5) Sentra Spec V Brembo Calipers fit

NOTES:

***remember these are fits on the 240sx. many parts carry over, but not all***

1) You can use the Z32 calipers with rotor sizes of 28-32mm (i.e. Supra, VR4, GTR, etc.).2) Brackets are needed with use of Z32 calipers with rotors larger than 280mm (i.e. GTR, VR4, Supra).3) There is a company that makes a bracket for the use of VR4 rotors but pushes the caliper out towards the rims, you will need at least a 15mm spacer for the rims.4) Some rotors need you to bore out the center hub section to fit on a Nissan hub or add hubcentric rings.

lease post more info on the Altima/Sentra (00+) rotors, since they are 4 lug and larger than stock 240 ones. Als anythign about their calipers, and if they can just be swapped over.

I.e.: can i just get a larger rotor from an altima/sentra (non Se-R) and keep my old calipers, or do I have to get theirs? When I do get theirs, are they bolt on (for the front at least) and fo they create offset issues?

I know it's a bit to ask, but since you are doing this already...

I'm sure the rest of us would greatly appreciate this info.

What about q45 brakes? And 93-97 (93-01) altima rotors?

Im curious because I read that I could use the 93-97 altima rotors instead of the q45 rotors so I wont have to have the q45 rotors re-drilled to 4 lug for the q45 brake upgrade.
