I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a NEO clutch. I'm having problems finding ones that are less than a $1000(Exedy). Or are they the same as R33 clutches?

kamin is right, ive seen an r34 neo engine and transmission up close they are pull type.best bet is to either convert the transmission to push or get a pull type clutch.neither are cheap options, i would go with the latter ATS makes awesome clutches.

i have an r34 rb25det transmission, not sure if its neo or not. it is definitely pull type. i am doing a conversion to push type so i can use my push type clutch.

in order to do this, the most important part is the front cover assembly. it is about $35, and is a JDM only part. it comes w/ a new pivot ball already screwed in. the remaining parts, c-clip, pivot fork, TO bearing, spring, etc. can be found as USDM (mostly matched against the Z). the entire conversion should cost about $100-150.

you also need to drill and tap the bell housing to flip the slave cylinder around. however, the casting for the holes is already there so you know exactly where to put it.

ONCE you do all of this, you should be able to use any of the readily available push type clutches (namely z32 n/a)
