Got an Idea for all RB owners.....

I was thinking it would be cool if us RB owners could have a small logo that we can proudly display on our cars. I would like to see some designs for a logo for the RB motor. Some thing small and simple.

I'll draw something up and I can get a small decal made, what do you guys want on it? Some thoughts - Nico Club, That six shooter is bad a$$, umm maybe I can draw a 6 shooter and put powered by Nico Club under it or something... Come up with ome ideas!!

Im with Nameless. I think it would be even better if it was something that only someone in the know would recognize. The six shooter thing in Krayton's avatar looks cool. Or it could be something kind of like the new driver thing they use in japan.

The idea came to me when I saw an RB Euro sticker on a van. RB is for Reohobath (sp?) Beach but we don't want to use them because that is a gay beach.

I would like it to be small so it isn't crying out for attention.

You could just get the Stock GT emlambs that come on the Skylines and put them on the 240 where they would go on the skyline?

Nah it won't give it away. Who the heck knows what race bred stands for in conjuction to Nissans let alone what RB stands for. Now you mention the word SKYLINE and everyone will go OHH! COOL! and even then some people have no clue what a Skyline is. I like Race Bred powered by NICO I'll draw something up and scan em and tell me what ya think.

Well I meant outside of the nissan world. Its not everyday you go out and see 240s cruisin around well up here atleast. I'm sure some people will know and alot other won't. and I dunno about having race bred now.... thats asking for a cop to pull me over. Just my 2 cents

For people like me that want the car to be a sleeper the logo would have to be something esoteric. I would actually prefer something that even most of the nissan community wouldn't get... That'll set us off from the rest of the ka's and sr's

yeah im with you on that I dont want everybody with a ka or sr to be like oh he's got an rb dont run him. I dont want to give it away you know. I want to surprise them with it when im rolling.

No 'powered by' please.. that's kindof corny.

IMO it should be short worded, small, with a logo.

Possibly just variations of "RB" with a logo..

I'll try to come up with something in photoshop..

Here's some quickies done with Word. I don't have Photoshop so bleh... I tried to keep it simple and to incorporate 6 bullet holes, one for each cylinder.Just thought I'd help get the creative juices going so flame away at your leisure.

I kinda like the "Race Bred" idea. There aren't that many people that know what that means. I'm sure there are also a few RB owners that don't know it either

It would be nice if RB ACTUALLY stood for "Race Bred" or "RACE BREED" or anything like that but it was just a couple letters they chose...I guess following that theory it would mean that SR means "Street Race" or KA Means "Kills All" or CA means "Can't Accelerate"

Come on guys its just two letters chosen at random...there isnt any meaning to it...like LS1 or S13 its just some letters...

The six shooters idea is cool but I say we use something a little more difficult to understand....something only those in the know will get.

I have it !!!! "Project 101" I was playing Grand Turismo 3 and in the car dealership area the history of the Skyline there was a brief description that Nissan called Project 101 - R32 state of the art Technology !!! No one will have a clue what that means, trust me.

i agree with jon, just my 2 cents that we should keep this within the rb community, and be original , not something thats been done on a different car.the car is unique, and it deserves nothing less.on the bright side, my friend has a cnc engraver for plastic and aluminum, so if anyone can whip up a program for it, ill make a prototype for someone

Some will think it's for Silvia (since I have the S15 front), but those in the know will realize it is actually a Skyline Badge; works both ways on my car and I think it looks awesome
