Early 90's Seat Position Controls - Junkyard Find

Went to junkyard's yesterday to see if any newly junked Q45's have arrived. Well while I did not find anything really related for me or HeavyDuty's needs, but I did pick up a thing or two that maybe somebody else wants. I had to cut my junkyard search short as my little Colombian friend decided she wanted to go with me and well....high heels and junkyards don't mix and so she broke a strap on her shoe and could not walk anymore. The looks I got from her walking around the salvage yards with me were priceless.

I found a very early 90's Q with production date 1989 that had the MB type seat controls. See pic below. I was only able to bargin the guy down to $80 for the two controls and hope that another 90-93 Q owner would enjoy these rare controls. Another NICO member has first dibs....but if not I hope somebody else will want these as I know I would if I had a 90-93 Q.

btw...there was also a JWT Popcharger that was in the car. I already have one, but they would sell it for $30 they said so if anybody wants a really cheap JWT Popcharger let me know and I will get it.

here she is.....went to pool yesterday as it is 80 in Miami today :-)

the looks she/I received in her high heels and club clothes at the salvage yards were well worth the cost of a new pair of shoes for her.....

I had those controls on my 90 and, frankly, I miss them on my 91. I wonder if there is a way to swap the old ones onto my 91 Q? Anybody know?

Should be easily done by switching out the panel. Don't know for sure, but it is difficult to imagine what would prevent it form working. Remember, it was a note from MB (actually, DB) that led to its discontinuance (or switch reconfiguration).

Rob, you could've walked out with a whole engine without them noticing if she was dressed like that!
