Of course I prefer to autocross my Z. But I am in the middle of serious upgrades to my Z right now & have nothing else to race. When the Z comes out of the garage it will be mainly autocrossed & run on road courses as well. Not much daily driving with it. The Q is my daily driver & is fun, but it ain't no Z.Altiman94 wrote:Those wheels look good on the Q. Do you prefer to autox your 300 instead?
Lots of room in the trunk, just no seatbelt. lollouiegz wrote:Looks like fun. Have room for one more?
With the outstanding brakes on my Q I run deep into coerners (as much as possible) before braking. No use slowing down early. The corners were too tight to try to run without some braking. Eveyone had to brake where I did. Another video of my Q from outside the car is coming. That one will show the track better.PoorManQ45 wrote:Looks like an excellent run, but it appears that you were going a little bit too fast on that first semi"straight" and had to slow it down alot to keep it between the cones . Otherwise it looks good
Thank you thank you. The interior is even nicer than the exterior.Jesda wrote:Oh yeah, re: the pics, thats a freaking beautiful silver Q!
Nope. The wheels I raced the Q with are from my 95 TT that I sold. These are my race wheels/tires and will be used on my 86 turbo when I finish working on it. I also have some killer (new) wheels for my 86 turbo which fit the Q. 18x8/front & 18x10/rear. They just don't look right on a luxury car though. All these wheels I own fit the Q & a Z32.elwesso wrote:Did you get a new set of wheels?
Not yet, it's been raining for days (yes in Vegas we have rain lol) & my lil bro won't take his TT out in the rain. Hopefully by this weekend. I didn't forget about you Wes.elwesso wrote:Mark did you ever test fit that wheel for me?
I run 40 front & 38 psi rear for daily commuting. At the track I ran 35 psi front & 32 psi rear.PalmerWMD wrote:Awesome Vid!!!!..
Fred...
PS: Most Q aficionados run 37 psi front 35 psi rear in commuting duty.
They are Boyd Coddington Smoothie IIs.Falkdesigns wrote:Those are dope. Look like a modern version of the Torque Thrusters.
