damn....brings back some damn good memories of having lots of fun when I raced my Q back in 1999 when totally stock. Now with the mods it should be much funner to push around the track. Congrats and thanks for the refreshed memory....

Those wheels look good on the Q. Do you prefer to autox your 300 instead?

Of course I prefer to autocross my Z. But I am in the middle of serious upgrades to my Z right now & have nothing else to race. When the Z comes out of the garage it will be mainly autocrossed & run on road courses as well. Not much daily driving with it. The Q is my daily driver & is fun, but it ain't no Z.

Looks like an excellent run, but it appears that you were going a little bit too fast on that first semi"straight" and had to slow it down alot to keep it between the cones . Otherwise it looks good
"When seconds count between life and death, the Police are only Minutes away." - Phillip Van Cleaves (October 30, 2007) Freedoms lost are seldom restored. "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have" Thomas Jefferson "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." With the outstanding brakes on my Q I run deep into coerners (as much as possible) before braking. No use slowing down early. The corners were too tight to try to run without some braking. Eveyone had to brake where I did. Another video of my Q from outside the car is coming. That one will show the track better.

Okay, maybe it was just the angle of the camera, but I thought you had stuck your nose right between two of the cones and then had to bring it back in before hitting one of them.

Thank you thank you. The interior is even nicer than the exterior.
| Quote, originally posted by elwesso » | | Did you get a new set of wheels? |
Nope. The wheels I raced the Q with are from my 95 TT that I sold. These are my race wheels/tires and will be used on my 86 turbo when I finish working on it. I also have some killer (new) wheels for my 86 turbo which fit the Q. 18x8/front & 18x10/rear. They just don't look right on a luxury car though. All these wheels I own fit the Q & a Z32.
