Texasoil - will this strut bar work with an "a"?

Do you think it would make a measureable difference on an "a"?

I don't know what the hats look like on the "a" model. The "std" model has 2 bolts htat hold the strut in place. Look at my Member's Ride section, to see some pics of the bar on my car. If you think the "hats" can fit on the "a" car, then the bar will work. You will have to disconnect the line to the strut, to get the bar installed, unless you cut the hats. You might have to do some modifications, to make it fit.

I remember an "a" owner that has the Stillen bar on his car, but I don't think he is on NICO any more. He is the guy that was selling the Stillen exhaust on eBay last week.

Ryan had the Stillen bar on his 1992 a. Texasoil has FSTB on both his a models, but I don't recall what type of bar.

Good point. IIRC, Ryan had ordered a "normal" bar and if it hadn't fit his "a", I had offered to buy it. Since I never heard, I would assume it worked. Maybe Wes can find out for sure.

The stillen bar fits the A just fine... Also, the hats on the maxima are larger so it will fit.....

the other one shown (for a Maxima) will also fit. You do have todrill another hole for the 'hat' bolt, and another one for the bar bolt in the 'ears'and cut off an inch of the 'ears' on the hat.

It made a big difference on my '94a. Some, but not near as much on the '92a.
