Rogue 6 disc CD

Does anyone know if there is a NON bose 6 disc player for the Rogue.

I am looking to add XM sat. radio to my 2008 rogue (do not want to buy an aftermarket unit). I only have the single disc player, which to my knowledge does not have the XM inputs on the back.

The Bose unit would work but I believe it requires an external amp, which I don't have with my single disc.

So is there such a thing as a non-bose 6 disc for the rogue that has an internal amp?

The Canadian premium package includes a non-Bose 6 CD/mp3 player. But, I don't know if it has an internal amp or an XM input.

try going to crutchfield.com and seeing what they suggest. their kits are reasonably priced and they have excellent customer service. you might also be able to find what they suggest elsewhere for a lower price, but again, their kits include everything you need for a quick & easy install

Finding one of those 'Non-Bose' 6 disc head units from a Canadian model is going to be extremely difficult. My guess is you cannot buy these from a US dealer, you have to order from a CDN dealer and they are very expensive... about $700 USD! You could try used, but there are so few Rogues in Canada... it would be hard to find one that is 'wrecked'.

Still, we have no confirmed reports if the 6disc non-Bose will even work with the iPod interface.

My suggestion to you is an aftermarket headunit. You can buy a fully featured double-din headunit with ipod, SAT radio, bluetooth and NAV system for less than a brand new factory headunit with the iPod interface.

I have a 2009 Rogue (with Canadian Premium Package). Two weeks ago, I replaced my non-Bose 6 CD/mp3 player by a Pioneer HU. I just looked on the back of my factory unit. There are three inputs, but nothing there says anything about XM.

Can you post a picture of the back of your head unit? It would help clear up a lot of my questions. I think onme of the 3 is for the sat radio - the connector has 4 pins on top and 8 on the bottom. A picture would be great.

Here is a pic of the Sat wiring diagram for a bose system. It's probably similar in the non-bose 6cd.



On a side note are you interested in selling the unit?
