Almost impossible to make a living specializing in one brand especially one with a small sales volume like Infiniti..

At best you will find a Nissan or a Combo Asian Shop..................who might have hired a dealer technican who has worked on a few G35.

Parts will cost the same as Dealers, because they must buy the parts from the dealers. All you are buying is a lower overhead which can save you $25 an hour with fewer frills and no loaner cars.

I actually just need front brakes and rotors. Infiniti of Fairfield said they would charge me $570. After I just paid $362 to replace an O2/heat sensor there I thought I would shop around a bit.

Oh yeah, NE speed limits are 55 mph! I forgot.

Still well worth the 3 hour drive to get a once over and determine which preventative maintenance should be performed. Never underestimate the value of expertise!

Brake job should be able to be done by any ASE certified shop. Get parts from Joe,

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com today for discount

OEM pads, have rotors turned, measure hub runout (lateral and radial), and have a shim kit on hand if you need it.

If you need rotors, I personally like the plated and drilled Stillen Brembo that Je sells. Tirerack has the unplated Brembo but they will rust like stock rotors where they are not scraped by the pad. Do not buy cheap eBay rotors! Or even PoopBoys crap.
